Hey, A lively video🙌! I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I could help you create a better distribution by working on post-production like better storytelling through Edits, Keywords, think catchy intros and outros, or even some engaging short clips! Would love to chat if you're interested and keep creating good content:)

That last yard was a tall cut. I mow at 2.25 with my gas powered Cub Cadet and we have nearly 4 acres. I'm betting an Ego wouldn't stand a chance at cutting that much. It takes me 4 hours to mow and I do it in halves between two evenings from 8pm-10pm. I like when it's cooler outside. Our brush hog only takes 3 hours but you don't feel the bumpy terrain on a tractor and it doesn't look as flat.

Elctric seems nice for the hand tools, but theres just not enough run time / power for riding mowers.

It only took me an hour and a half to find this info. Every other pond guy wants to show you his garden and how his plants are dead bc of the heat, then you see their sump/reservoir , blah blah. It blows my mind how quickly water evaporates from the pump alone. That is the first time I've heard this stat from anyone. I am in Florida (103 temps already ) and like every other pond owner, I at first thought I had a leak, (which my self doubt & anxiety tells me I still do) but seeing all of these videos on evaporation makes sense I actually have 2 pumps, one for my bog filter and the other running my waterfall. The bog runs all day and night but the waterfall is on a timer for the evening time only. Now I can see where all my water is going. Thank you!

I love the idea of these all electric mowers. But these electric devices should be setup to match a comparable ICE mower. When an ICE engine gets down to 5% fuel level the engine is not compromised in power. It's electronic controls, the battery should display 0% when the motor is now longer able to provide full power to the mower. 0%-100% should be full motor power usable levels of battery, the battery level display should not include unusable levels of battery.

Sorry to hear that you lost confidence. You probably had an early 2020 model I have a late 2022 build; is it possible that EGO has resolved the drive motor fault issues? Thanks for your reply.
@CleanEarthWaterscapes

Me too. And yes it is very likely they did resolve those issues. The customer service handling during the issue was also troublesome. I hope your 2022 model fares well and lasts forever. Thanks for commenting. Best wishes to you.

Hi Arron, your comment regarding USB A vs. C is well taken. I have the EGO Z6 and picked up a wireless charging mat which fits perfectly inside the charging compartment. No wires and my iPhone sits flat. Recommend this to anyone who hates cables as I do! Great video, very informative!

Had my Z6 just over a year now. 1 acre lot in Hilly upstate SC and back half of lot was forestry mulched last fall so its a tough run there, max height due to wood chips. Still loving the Z6, also Ego push, blower (their best product!), hedgers and weed eater. Just now at point I need to replace blades, also lube rear as right rear tire squeaks. on 4 batteries I can get whole lot but like you said blade speed at 2 maximizes run time. Usually finish yard at 12-20% left on batteries. Also have a pull cart to haul stuff around, works really well moving blocks, pavers, dirt... Curious as I see Ego has their 5amphr batteries marked down at $239, would it work mixed or do they have to be same size in the 6 bays?

Do people spray the underside of their deck (and even the flats of the blades) to lessen the amount of grass that gets stuck to the deck?
@CleanEarthWaterscapes
@CleanEarthWaterscapes Жыл бұрын
I would clean the deck every now and then. Depends on how much you mow and the mowing conditions, wet or dry. But the cleaner the deck is, the better it cuts.

After 70 hours runtime, it developed a drive motor fault that took weeks to diagnose (mower in the shop). Finally, with my persistent calling to EGO, they decided the issue could not be resolved. So they sent a new replacement. Overall, I lost confidence in EGOs ability to resolve these unknown problems quickly and decided to sell my replacement mower on eBay. I doubt I will buy another electric riding mower for a few more years.

But just have a STIHL RMA 21" push mower, STIHL FSA90R Trimmer, STIHL KMA130R with the blower, brush cutter and paddle broom attachment. I have the AP cord and backpack attachment with 2 AP500s and 2 AP300s batteries with al300 charger It's been good I have an Milwaukee M18 power station to charge the battery as a work. I've never been left without batteries with this set up. Kinda funny I'm running all battery equipment and show up with a old 95 Toyota Tacoma lol

Sounds like you need the biggest batteries for a business like yours. Perhaps in combination with an EV truck like the F150 Lightning or Cybertruck that has household plugs and will allow you to charge between jobs or while having a break. I just ordered one of these for my personal use after seeing some impressive mowing. Excited to get it going...

This one is for personal use as well. I used it on some landscape customer’s lawns for the video. It wouldn’t work well for full time mowing crews due to battery needs.
