i still can not forgive the creators of the show how they literally pushed Bucky aside and into a supporting role in his own show towards the end. they started so strong, focusing on both characters and then the last episode felt not only extremely rushed but also like they just were "meh lets just roll his plot up in a montage". it didn't do the tremendous story arc and character development any justice. We didn't get to see more than just two rushed sentences between Nakajima and him, we never got to see his struggle, the impact this talk had on him, how Nakajima dealt with all of it, it was just so many questions unanswered. And most unsatisfying of all was the "thanks for the help doc" and with that they declared him healed from the trauma.

i think Anthony needed someone who understood his pain of loosing a parent and taking on the role of the head of the family and loosing their childhood and themselves in the way. No doubt even Edwina lost her father but she was young to go through the same pain Anthony went through and as she was the youngest she had a chance to enjoy her childhood but for Kate loosing her father and her her step-mother deep down in sorrow she had to take on the role of the head of the family and lost her childhood and herself just like Anthony. And when they met it was just like looking in a mirror and they saw themselves and they hated it. But in the process they also realized their similarities and the way they could just talk but in reality they were talking through their fights. And how they couldn't just look away from each other at any given moment and how they were allowing to break their walls that they have builded over the years and the mere thought of one going away just broke them as they were a part of a puzzle of each other's life and without one another they were nothing. Edwina and Anthony were great together but Edwina was no match for Anthony's competiveness and she was way to naïve to handle the Bridgerton bunch and she would have failed miserably as a wife that had the responsibility of the house and slip into depression as she always had the luxuries of enjoy her live as the second born and in some point in their lives Anthony would have started hating Edwina as she was the reason he couldn't have Kate as he wanted to break the engagement but he stopped as Kate's every word matters to him. That way Edwina would have suffered her whole life without knowing why Anthony hates her.
