if you are using a version of the mod that is newer than July of 2018, then yeah, the mechanics of the mod has changed.

As in mods to make? I recommend simple mods that don't do more than many things. And certainly not a mod with eclectic things in them. Mods should be focused so that pack developers can make packs in a granular way via adding mods, not adding that one mod that does everything and then traipsing through thousands of lines of configs to turn things on and off. You can always look at 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 mods, find the popular ones, and if they never ported forward. Don't disassemble them, as that can lead you into trouble. Just make entirely new versions of them with an entirely new names. That'll help you to get popular. Or just make some entirely new like a Deluge mod, where when it is raining there is a chance that a water source block is placed near the player in their view distance. I'd really like to see that one.

@@offbemyou have to configure it. Biomes O'Plenty isn't like Terralith. BOP adds it's own unique ground blocks. Whereas Terralith uses existing vanilla Minecraft ground blocks. Yes, I made a comparison to Terralith as I feel it's the better mod for biomes now.

That's my "The Kabbalah Block" from www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/the-kabbalah-block, I made the short within my pack known as "Kabbalah Block" www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/kabbalah-block . Which is a flat world comprised of those goofy colored blocks. Blocks that when you mine them, produce numbers. Numbers that you can craft together in pairs from 65 (A) to 90 (Z) [Ascii Values], Letters that you then can use to begin molding the world with such as D-I-R-T, L-I-F-E (oak sapling), S-E-E-D-S (wheat seeds), and so on the more advanced lettered recipes using the mechanical crafters from the Create mod.

It can go deeper btw, just did a test in a short, so the Create item vault can go 3×3×9 which is 81 vaults in size. Basically, 81 chests. And you can wrap them around that advanced crafting station for an interesting crafting experience. But just the same, I'm going to show in the coming week how it would be more advantages to use Tom's Storage Network with it. Not just it, but several massive 3×3×9 monstrosities. Not to mention, they can be used in your factory setups as well. Easily dual purpose.

You can try, Optifine won't be doing anything with my custom block in the Overworld, though. The pack is pretty basic, though, so I don't see why Optifine wouldn't work. EXCEPT, I have a custom dimensions mod in the pack and well Optifine has a habit of choking on custom dimensions.

@@Kreezxil well it crashes when i put optifine in the mods folder (i use linux and it is the same on windows but with worse performance) and i heard that drp uses optifine in his playtrough but idk how cus it crashes for me

@@TudorHH3000 ask DRP. The better question then is: How much ram are you using? I built the pack completely inside of Manjaro Linux with GDLauncher app from gdevs.io, granted because I have 64 GB of ram I do have 16 GB allocated to all my 1.17.1+ packs as those use Java 17 which can handle that much ram. I did design the pack to operate perfectly with a state-of-the-art garbage computer from Walmart. So it runs beautifully without Optifine on a 4 GB computer. Therefore, if you make sure you have allocated at least 3 GB of ram to the pack, you should be fine. I do recommend 6 GB for peak performance. @@Kreezxil well my shitty 100$ laptop has a great cpu (i3 1115g4) and 4gb ram and i allocated 2-2.5gb to it and it runs well without optifine (50-70 fps) but i would rather use optifine to get the most fps for the power usage

@@TudorHH3000 sadly, that means we found the problem. Moreover, don't use OPTIFINE, use Sodium, a mod that does the same thing, but is open source and coded better than OPTIFINE. If you're not bound to something for work, considering switching to Linux as it has a smaller memory footprint than windows, leaving more of that precious ram to your applications. And yeah, you can run minecraft modded on Linux using gdevs.io (GDLauncher).

It's good, I'm happy with it. What might interesting, to make it seem like “the predecessors” intended it? Have it so, when the portal spawns on a water surface, that it spawns on a flotilla or something floaty.

It also has tree feller installed, so you can just punch the bottom log out and the entire tree collapses down. Making the wooden axe totally unnecessary. Which is why I overlooked that. I'll remove WorldEdit in the next update. Thanks for noticing it.
