Hey Margaret. No, not really. We only use the generator in a well ventilated area, being sure the generator exhaust is drifting away from the camper. We also have a multi gas sensor in the camper that will let us know if there area any gases in the camper. To be clear, we keep the generator outside of the camper. :) Great question!!👍 Thank you Margaret for the question and thanks for watching our video too. Mike and Angel

Great video of the park. ....But I miss the old upper rv Campground before they modernized all the site's. You mentioned how you liked the big rocks placed at some site's. Well, that's exactly what I miss because almost all the sites had a very secluded feel with big rocks that looked natural. Like you were camping in an area in a forest. The bath house was old stone building like the tower and lodge. As a Alabama boy just 1-1/2 hours away it was and still our mtn. get away. The old shot gun house across the road from the store was the store and check in for the park. I believe it's now and still a laundry house now.

Hey Jeff. I agree, we like the campgrounds that have that natural feel to them. It was so cold during our stay we weren't able to enjoy it as much as we would have liked to. We are extremely proud of our park!!! The paving has all been completed since you filmed this video and it is all really nice. In addition to the Mountain Bikes you are allowed to ride your regular bike or electric bike on any of the roads you traveled in your truck. It makes for us a great ride on our Lectric bikes. We live in Franklinton where you drove through. The Washington Parish Free Fair is always the 3rd week of October and we have had as many as 300,000 people come into our town for it. The first Saturday night of December you can come into town and see the largest lighted Christmas parade on the Northshore. I was blessed to have began the parade in 2019 and I have now turned it over to another very capable lady. Also the first weekend in June we have the Washington Parish Balloon Festival. Come join us!!!! I have watched several of your videos but did not know you lived in Louisiana. From the accent I kind of figured LOL.

Before booking a site in a campground I've never visited, I always look for videos. Thankful to have found yours. I actually had your site, E110, down as a possibility and was hoping to find if it had shade, which is still difficult to tell. We will only be there one night as we pass through, but since I have options of sites I try to choose the best. How is late afternoon and early morning sun on 110? We will be there next week. Also that hill with large stone build-up could be problematic for my elderly blind dog. Also considering E217 in the other loop. It may be better for our needs, and I appreciate you show it on your video too. It's also closer to a bath house, it seems. We will be in our bathroom-less T@B this time, the bigger sister to the little T@G teardrop you talked about. Thankful for additional feedback, if you have any.
@RetroRVRecon

Hey C Baker. For site E110, the sun should be behind the trees in early morning and afternoon. Its a nice site but it will be in a lot of sun. Jilly, our camping dog, did have a little difficulty with the rocks alone the site too. Also, E110 is a good walk from the bath house. You mentioned E217, I think you are right, it may be a much better choice for your needs. In a lot of shade and closer to the bath house. Angel and I set out a few years ago to get a tear drop, it was all we needed for our hiking trips. I stumbled onto this product a couple years ago with trying to clean our awning and I will say it does work very well. I tried the way overpriced "awning cleaner" from the dealer which is nothing more than bleach and this product did a lot better getting 95%of the mold and stains off the awning and all I did was hose off the awning, let it dry for a few minutes then took a small pump sprayer and sprayed the awning and rolled it up and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes then unrolled and used a carwash brush on a pole to lightly scrub and when I hosed it off it looked brand new again. Some of the product did get on the side the 5th wheel and I saw how much crud came off so decided to spray the whole rv down but I went 3 parts water to 1 part LA Awesome and it took all the streaks and dirt off then I followed up with spray polish/sealer and the shine was better than new! I only use this pre and post season but if you follow it up with a wax/sealer the streaks are very minimal and usually come right off during regular washes.

Like who sold their property. The Fair has had a lot of fanily time of generations gone by. I had cousins that showed livestock. One rodeo, the bull got loose and men on horses went after it before it got to the Carnival Rides. That was in 1979/80. Jim Henson was there. Our baby loved Kermit the 🐸.

Hey Doug Y'all have some nice lakes out that way. We thought it was sort of cool, we were in your state while you were in ours for that weekend. We hope the area treated you two well. Yeah, the truck camper reminded us of you, being hauled by a "RAM 2500", 😁😆😁. Thanks for watching our video Doug! Happy Trails & Happy Camping. Mike and Angel

@@RetroRVRecon If y’all ever run into us in a campground, we’ll be the people not driving a red Ram 2500. 😂 Funny thing, throughout our marriage we’ve owned five red trucks. Now we both drive white trucks.
