Seeing this, yhea the one who drew blood on me must have fucked up big time because I was in massive pain and this kid looks like it was merely a small burn.

Back in then1940's the needles were much wider not teflon coated and hurt .Kids were not people back then ..this child has benefited from time.

I do this shit every month and it sucks lol

I have to get my blood drawn tomorrow for the first time and I’m really scared. I’ll try to stay calm but it’s 1:15 AM in the morning and I can’t fall asleep due to anxiety.. 😥

a couple weeks ago i had my blood drawn for the first time for testing i never looked at the blood until well after it was all over. i felt pretty good before the needle came out and then like 30 seconds later i was covered in sweat and was totally pitch black blind for a good 10 seconds. it happened again after that too, vision got dark again but it wasn’t as bad.

The blood sample is just a small thing when i did it it just take like a ants bite

I was one of those kids who would damn near have a panic attack when I was even told days in advance that I’d be going to an office where more then likely I’d have blood drawn. Me pediatrician at the time favored a finger stick, and forget about anything comforting from the nurse. Now, I am working in health care so I am naturally critical of these kinds of videos. This person went above and beyond. I would hope for her sake that she doesn’t have to do very many instances of physically manhaldling a patient down. The pediatrician who favored the finger stick testing and I were never on very good speaking terms.

Too much talking. As a Phlebotomist she doing to much talking and in real life kids move and act out. Most of the time parents are no help when helping to anchor the arm. Most of the time it take two phlebs to hold the arm
