Fabulous comprehensive penpal guide ❤ It'll be 30 years, next year, that I've been penpalling 😮 but I still love watching videos like this to gain inspiration, and just because they're fun to watch 😊 I 100% agree that penpalling is purely about the letter, the connection, and hearing your penpals news. Everything else in a bonus. I love a bit of mail art as I've always enjoyed art & crafts, but that's my way of relaxing. If I send something arty I don't expect to receive the same back. Everyone has different styles and ways of penpalling, too, so it's lovely to see everyone's unique way. It doesn't always have to be through art, craft, or little extras. Some people get creative with how they lay their letter out. I've had penpals who write in a diary style, or I've received kind of interactive letters before with things like thought bubbles popping up in spots throughout the main letter that might say what music you're listening to, the weather outside, what you're drinking, etc. There's so many ways to be creative, it doesn't have to all be arty based. And, just a letter is the most important part 💌

everything else is a bonus, so true. That's a good point, a different way to be creative, thanks.

I love this! Wondering, and you might share this... but where might one find a clear envelope like the stickers of the blue dressed ladies stickers? it looks like thicker plastic that has the non slippery feel that is nicer than the slicker feel plastic... at least for me. By where, I mean like what kind of store, as I know the stores you have local to you are not likely to be local to me.
@TheReadingResidence21 күн бұрын
that's a good question, and I don't know, they came like that. But I will be saving it and re-using it when it's empty!

Love the idea of mango and pineapple together and in green tea is even better. I had the pleasure of watching this video twice. I didn’t see the cover of the journal the first time, as I was still in a sleep deficit from having gone to bed around 3am. Your words lulled me into nod land. The second time I saw the whole story you shared. That’s a success for both viewings. Just for different reasons. For the card slots thing, I have one in a similar style journal set. I have a business card/ gift card sized card that came with something around Valentines Day, I think so that is its story now, lol. The card has the word love on a red background and has that way where if you look at it from a 45 degree angle it shows something different. That’s what I know is in one of my card slots. If you want, ephemeral cards with some kind of wellness related words on one side and then the definition on the other side, or something like that idea, is what I suggest for a brainstorming idea session.

Thanks for watching it twice! That's a lovely idea for the cards, thanks very much for the suggestion.

This is a great idea! You can get wellness cards that are the size of the front pockets, or you could make scrapbook style ones of your own. Or I think photos would be nice, ones that mean something to you, to tie in with the wellness theme. Either on their own, or prettied up in a scrapbook style 😍

Thanks! And thanks for the suggestions, all fun!

A wellness journal is such a good idea. It'll be so useful having go to receipes as well. The idea of finding food stickers, etc, fills me with joy. Journalling for me is about well-being anyway.😊
