The transition: in 1995 they were mostly white. IN 2007 the captain was white. In 2019-2023 is full fledged rainbow nation ps: yes, hate when politicians do that. As non South African, in my opinion, no politicians should try and own this victory except maybe one, who is now dead

So very true. I also remember 2019 siya called rassie to be with him in front. Rassie refused and gave all the glory to the players. 2023 Cyril just hogged the limelight for doing nothing. He can take lessons from the bok coaching staff.

Thanks for your comment. The contrast is stark...complete humility from Siya and all the Boks interviewed, and this muppet has to make it seem like its his achievement. The Boks nearly didn't get to wear the flag and sing the anthem thanks to the incompetence of Cyril's government. Its sad really. I met Cyril in 2007, before he was a "politician", and he has a lovely man. Power corrupts, and ultimate power corrupts absolutely 😞

@@TigerGirlUK did you replace them with the same or change out to a different switch gear?
@TigerGirlUK
@TigerGirlUK Жыл бұрын
@@johnmallett1857 I replaced them with OEM parts from www.superlightpartscentre.com however it's worth looking for a better quality switch set, if you can find a compatible one. Key challenge is that the Superlight (well mine anyway) has the indicator switches on each side of the handle bars so you may struggle to find one. Hated that aspect of the Superlight. I now have a bike with the traditional indicator switch and its so much easier.

Stumbled across your video, then ah saw the sign to Gurret. Was visiting friends in august who have a house just outside burgeneuf in the hamlet of rappisat. Have been to see them many times over the last twenty years, but only once by motorbike. A new discovery was an excellent Asian fusion Chinese all you can eat buffet for 17 euro’s a head. Full of French people. Your bmw would be just the bike for that region. I rode from England on a cbr600 but now have an Xj6 diversion……more upright. Great video! ❤

My experience of German people is that they are greatly humbled by the effects of WWII. If only the "west" was more contrite about the devastation they have caused since then, especially in the Middle East, the world would be a much better place :-(

As ordinary citizens, we learn. But weapons manufacturers will never learn. It's big business to them. And profit is their king. I wouldn't be surprised if major construction companies are probably rubbing their hands with glee as we speak at the contracts they'll pick up to rebuild Ukraine after the war. Everything is about money these days.
@TigerGirlUK
@TigerGirlUK Жыл бұрын
@@KarenL810 That is. so sad and so true. in the medieval day wars were convened by King/Queens only if they could afford it (a limiting factor). Now governments can print all the money they want and weapons manufacturers (the medieval iron-mongers) pay off the politicians to go to war. There's absolutely no limiting factors anymore 😔 And we end up paying through inflation 🤬

Visited Oradour 30 years ago, before the modern museum was constructed. The whole area was coarser than today, and much more humbling. One of our neighbours at that time (holiday home we owned) remembered seeing the smoke from her home about 15 miles from Oradour as a 15yr old at the time. All the locals were keen for us to visit, and remember, and we ensured that over the next 20yrs we took every family member, and friend who visited us during our holidays, on what became a pilgrimage of remembrance. We must never forget.

French resistance men had burned alive some captured German Soldiers in this village. Villagers assisted the resistance fighters who did not wear military clothing, which is against the Geneva convention. German forces attacked this village in retaliation for the burning alive of their comrades. A terrible time. History books hide this fact. Plus remember, it was France who declared war on Germany, and attacked and invaded Germany first!
