Hi! I’d just like to spread the word about my debut novel, Masks of Faded Dreams, which releases TOMORROW (April 2nd). It’s a YA fantasy romance/romantasy with elemental magic, enemies to lovers, knives to the throat, “who did this to you?”, royalty, heists, and secrets to uncover <33

@w_b_mplease97155 ай бұрын
To help reduce cracking, try covering it lightly with plastic, a tissue, or foil, just lay it on top. Also don't let it dry where an air vent or fan is aimed. It'll speed up the drying time but that fast drying will cause cracks. You want to slow the drying time down.
@readsbykyra5 ай бұрын
Oooh I’ll definitely try that thank you!! There wasn’t an air vent or fan nearby by I’ll for sure try putting something on top :)

Love what you love. It gives the people around you license to do the same, even the ones too insecure to do it themselves. It’s easier for them to make fun of others than try to do the same thing for themselves.

My CC2 reading hack: -read prologue -read ONLY Ruhn chapters until page 500 -read all pages after 500 I know that sounds insane but I’m not kidding when I say it’s all the important parts… only in a CC book can you cut hundreds of pages and not loose the main plot 😂 it’s an insanely fluffed out book

Excited for your story. Curious to find out what theme(s) you plan to illustrate through your creative world. Keep writing; we can always use another story to get lost in and bring us hope and daydream about when things are grey and dreary. Happy 2024!

I know you caught what I said on insta about how everyone is unique and relatable, but I’ve been actually thinking more about this. Tomi Adeyemi author of Children of Blood and Bone has some really interesting dialogue on this topic and how it relates to the inception of her series. Also, she’s from Chicagoland and was my lab partner in high school…really kind person. Anyway, it’s a really common sentiment a lot of people can relate to, and one we should continue to subvert as we’re all fearfully and wonderfully made.
