That's an American Goldfinch...wild bird in summer colors. Much duller (pale) in the winter. They love thistle feed.

I remember that 'open house". The amount of people that showed up was insane. Loved the radio interview, I think the interviewer was very interested in the goat circus you’ve got going there Aaron. He thinks goats are mean, lol. You may get loved to death by the Syman goats, I remember Liz saying, nobody wants to be around a mean goat, I hope he comes to visit sometime, he will love it. 💕

We happen to live in migration route for those gold finch3s and we watch their color change from dull browns to bright yellow b3fore heading north. In the winter they are back in their brown colors again

🙋‍♀️ squirrel brain here! That was a male Goldfinch. They like to sit on my sunflowers and pull the petals out to get to the seeds. They also have a roller-coaster flight pattern. So much fun to watch!
