It seems that some people are born to play certain roles. For example: Christopher Reeve- Superman. Megan and Jonathan were definitely born to play the perfect Anne and Gil! To touch peoples hearts all over the world and to direct people back to the exquisite artistry of Lucy Maud Montgomery.

From what I hear, Anne wacked Gilbert with a binder on the new TV series unlike the real story of her breaking the slate over his head. I have not watched Anne with an E, but I already don't want to watch it because of the information I have received from these comments. I have seen pictures, gifs and maybe a clip or Two and I can already see the inaccuracy.

No matter what woman fell for Gilbert his love for Anne never changed and despite his wanting to move on each time they fight or separate shows "what true love is" steadfast no matter what the circumstances are. I wish everyone had that type of love that was steadfast and true love.

This is far best of Anne of green gables. Megan Follows was the best Anne Shirley ever and i had huge crush on Jonathan Crombi he will always be our Gilbert Blyth ❤❤❤❤ RIP Jonathan, Mathew and Marcela.. Megan will be always our little carrot top

Just watching this again after a dear friend re-sent it to me. This is absolutely exquisite work! So beautiful and masterfully edited. And doubly heartbreaking now, with the world without Jonathan for over eight years. This has brought so many smiles and tears over many years. Thank you so much and love from Melbourne x

Absolutely loved this. These 3 films are some of my favorites. I agree that in my eyes they are Anne and Gil.. there is no one else that can fill those roles. I'm normally one that wishes movies would stick to the books but the 3rd film is just amazing. It was done so well and I think it fit Megan and Jonathan's portrayal of Anne & Gil perfectly. Makes me so sad he passed.

for me..the drama is good ,they both fit chemistry ..a little lack of romantic sweet essence ,,im looking for more kissing scene ,,& wishing that ending is more exciting such as the girl transformation & must be in weeding ceremony & reception & have thier own atleast one kid. overall its feel good & inloved

I love their adult mature Anne and Gilbert and i love kids and teens versions in Anne with an e. So in my mind this is one story and it's perfect.

Where is 1:49 from. It looks kind of like the train station when he sees her in Anne of Avonlea and gives her the note calling her carrots again, but they never kissed there. Was this in The Continuing Story? I don't remember her hair that way? Just curious if you know which one this scene is from?
