I liked the buildup and ending parts of the track. Really worked. But i feel like the main parts of it sufferred by the choice of guitar. It was kinda muted and didn't pay off enough for the kind of hype and energy the subject should exude. Moreover the decision to lower the key probably also hindered the excitement of the piece. The increased tempo seems intuitively appropriate, but the end result feels rushed rather than high speed. The piano parts near the end helped to remedy some of that but overall i don't think it works.

frontiers was literally the perfect opportunity to bring the super emeralds back because supposedly they are in a different dimension and cyberspace was the perfect place to get them

Well, Ian Flynn did stated in his Bumblekast that he originally proposed the idea of bringing Hyper Sonic for the final battle against The End, but the idea was shot down by Sonic Team due to avoid the Next Tier Power Up troupe. I would see where they were going with this, as if they wouldn't want to have too many transformations, excluding Darkspine and Excalibur from the Storybook series, the Werehog from Unleashed, or even the Dark form from the Sonic X Anime. And since Hyper Sonic was added in Sonic 3 & Knuckles(as a bonus unlocking feature when combining the two game cartridges), it was only used as a one time thing and has never been used again in anymore recent titles until Sonic Origins/Sonic Origins Plus. Besides, Ian Flynn did explain about the dangers of the power creep in his previous episodes of the Bumblekast before this, which might be a problem in some cases.

I like to think that Frontiers was a chance for Sega to redeem from all the bad games, and then they keep increasing the quality on the sequels and when they're finally redeemed they bring him back as the final reward.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. You can use whatever theme you want for Super Sonic, but His World *is* the theme of Hyper Sonic

Curious fact: Hyper Sonic was supposed to be used in Sonic Frontiers. He was supposed to be used in the final battle. They ended up scrapping the idea because they wanted to avoid the *"Next Tier Power-Up"* trope.

Yes, the sound mixing is full like that on purpose. Adds a sense of stress to the song. Reverb and distortion go well hand in hand for this kind of thing.

Xenia Canary experimental build You can also use Unleashed Mod Loader (from Gamebanana) to play mods in Xenia You may need a video to help you set that up, since it requires quite a few more steps to get mods working Also there are some necessary changes in the Config file (can be opened using Notepad) The most notable change is max_queued_frames = 64 Change the 64 to 3, this will fix the audio delay and the game will work as normal aside from crashes

For the record, xenia is a wonderful emulator. It just crashes at the funniest moments sometimes
