I'm not far from scheduling my Instrument checkride. I come from the steam gauge age and the one piece of equipment that I'm not as familiar with as I want to be is the Garmin 430. I've watched this 5 or 6 times (one was probably enough) and it's been very helpful. Imagine flying without a GPS or Foreflight :) This video is 3 years old and I was wondering how far the young lady went with her flight training.

Hey man, I’m looking to enlist and use the gi bill for this training so I can get commercial pilot job right after this training. Once my 4 years in the service is over do I need to get anything before applying for a program like this besides (class 1 medical)? Do I need my ppl?

Thanks for this video, I now know I definitely don’t want to fly IFR with this unit. I can’t imagine doing all the multitude of senseless steps to get anything done all while trying to maintain heading, altitude, flying the airplane, talking to approach. No thanks

Great I qualify for Voc Rehab and still have my Gi bill, Can I use those two to fund my PPL? Having a hard time finding flight schools that are accredited with the VA to cover tuition. Thanks, Cheers!

This is such a good quick summary. As someone else said, most concise and clear short 430 video I've seen.
