I just wanted to note this as a reminder, not a criticism cuz i love this poem and this poem in itself is a reminder of who we've become and who we shouldn't be as a church, as a people, and as a person. the reminder is this: though we do wait for HIM, we must remind ourselves that we do not wait for HIM in silence, we can't. Our war(our fight) is not carnal, we do not fight against flesh and bone, but we do war against principalities and ideas that are against GOD. Our weapons are not flesh, but are mighty through GOD in the tearing down of strongholds and imaginations...I cannot apologize for being overzealous, but I did want to explain, that I just wanted to add gas to the flame in my brother's and sisters, because we must stay vigilant. I take this word for myself first and then share it, cuz i know i've been lackadaisical in my own fleshly mind.

I just heard of her today from a short, on a believers site. I'm glad I did. This is the second piece I've heard from her. Wow...I so wish, I had heard this sermon before 1999...My # 2 Granddaughter has some songs on youtube. I think she would like what I heard today. She may know of her. I'll send the links anyway. Y'all did that! I must say at first I got a bit distracted by the way Jackie was introduced and Preston was introduced "you know her as the ex homosexual and him as a brother who broke the chains of the soul ties" but I was able to pray and focus to appreciate the poetic masterpiece. It's 2024 now and that was a decade ago but it's it really that hard for us to call out sinful behavior in men in the same manner that we do women?
