Hi! After installing the O2 eliminator kit does it improved the performance? Does the choppy throttle goes away? Thank-you

Removing that valve will have the exact opposite results from what he’s claiming. I have a full Termignoni exhaust on my 939SP which obviously doesn’t include an exhaust valve. Result is it runs like shit at low rpm low speed riding. Throttle response at low rpm is garbage without that valve.
@michaelglenn24682 жыл бұрын
Mine still has the valve and throttle response is garbage. I'm getting a Rexxer tune with the servo delete and hopefully will clear it up.

Incredible machine. I've got a 2017 675r, and this is my end goal for my bike. After 2 years and 35k miles, I've made up my mind that this bike is perfect for what I do. Like you said, sure a liter bike can pull on the straight, but a light nimble bike will gap those 1000cc's all day long in the twisties.
@Redline874 жыл бұрын
Guspacho Airsoft Exactly. It’s perfectly balanced for twisters/racetracks. Going fast in a straight line is something everyone can do. Doesn’t take any talent to go fast on highways.

@@Redline87 For real. Don't get me wrong it's fun to blast off like a missile. But doing pulls on the freeway gets old after an hour. I'd rather get faster in the twisties. More fun when you're inches from the ground 🤙

It sounds like you are saying that with this installed it will disable my servo motor and keep the flapper open. However I thought that this will only keep the bike from showing an error code. It does not disable the motor and keep it open, you have to manually disable the motor and/or cables. I wrote Smart Moto and they wrote back "The Servo Eliminator disables the Fi error code associated with the servo motor."
@Redline874 жыл бұрын
John Berry Correct, this will keep the error code from showing when you disconnect the servo motor power cord. You will still need to disconnect the cables and pull them off so the valve remains open. This video is from a friend who owns the bike. I know on my bikes the valve was on a spring constantly trying to open, but the cables controlled how much it opened. Once the cables were off, it remained open with no light.
@michaelglenn24682 жыл бұрын
@@Redline87 I've read where some people safety wire the valve open. Do you feel this is beneficial or are the springs stout enough?

I am new to Triumph. Got a 2015 Daytona 675. Check engine light was on, mechanic said it’s a faulty modulating valve in exhaust system and said he locked it or tied it open. Check eng. light stays on. Would the Sevo Exup Eliminator Sw. cut out the engine light? I know, the correct fix is to get to the bottom of this valve problem. I am planning an exhaust mod, muffler now and headers later, so maybe fixing the modulation valve is a non starter. if the Servo Exup Elim. Sw. cancels the check eng light then is it permanently off; can it come on for other reasons, i.e., other engine issues? Thanks in advance.
@Redline874 жыл бұрын
Def. He did the right thing but locking it open. Get the Servo Exup Eliminator, Plug it in, Zip tie it out of the way. The bike will need 3 heat cycles and the light will be gone. Thats all you need. Easy fix.

Actually, you loose a lot of low end torque when you remove that flapper ... it makes your bike louder at idle, but it makes ZERO gain in power... & actually causes a loss in low end power... call Dimsport &/or Shift-Tech & talk to one of the engineers... they will explain it...
