This would be perfect for Maize harvesting in those boggy conditions!

The netherlands are mostly very wet, that means you have to get the load out of the mud. You are right but if you get stuck you will also lose much time, or you have to buy a second and a third machine with tracks to bring the load from the muddy areas to the regular trucks.

its still under development so wait and check progress at modhoster.de
@ichdissdich9811 жыл бұрын
yeah but its like normal harvesting then. so i think its for long ways so the containers can easily be "mounted" on a truck and go for 60 km or more (wich would be kinda senseless)
@JiuJitsu7911 жыл бұрын
put the container lift behind a tractor and buy 2 of them... so the harvester dont need to stop chopping

The harverster and the terra tracs are delivered by Claas. Hartog have mounted the terra tracs under the Claas.

this grass does not go to the bunk, it goes to a drying plant some distance away and again this is Holland, fields are often wet.
@user-kn3cy1oz9x11 жыл бұрын
trucks will destroy the grass fields.
@user-kn3cy1oz9x11 жыл бұрын
This grass goes to a dryer and they make grain out of it. Dryers are quite a distance away and the grass is transported by truck. But they don't want the trucks in the fields rutting up the fields. Holland is a wet country.

This is not made by claas, but by Hartog and Belo

@lepaul26 You're right. 40% of the harvesting is done in very wet conditions, distroying land construction, wasting power, time and material just because you don't have enough traction, direction stability and ground pressure, buring your equipment.

waste of time?

@0jesse10397 Ja het is een landbouw voertuig, lange afstanden gaat die wel op een trailer.

What crap cool looking harvester but you loose to much time stoping to change containers you can cover alot more ground when the harvester dosnt stop
@Robbert-NL12 жыл бұрын
@TheMRozendal ja dat kan je wel zeggen en met slecht weer ga je vaak niet grassen

Wat kost dit met 1 container ?
@lepaul2612 жыл бұрын
@ronacm Slow ? We will see who will be the slowest when it starts to rain a lot ... And if this is slow ...1 or 2 minutes to change the container ...

@081500777 Also....How many tours between farm and field will be saved (I expect none) ? No, but 2 trucks and 4 containers save you 2 drivers wages and such and the diesel and maintenance for those 2 trucks. So how many tractors and drivers do you save (I expect none again, right?) You could easily save half of current. While one truck/container is en route to the bunker, the chopper is filling another container. Also, this keeps 30k lb trucks out of the field, less compaction and crop damage.
@salamander2700112 жыл бұрын
@081500777 No annimosity intended, just trying to answer your questions. Who provides the containers ? Farmer or silage buyer. same as who buys the silage wagons or trucks. Who can handle them ? Any truck set up for a hook-container system. Also any trailer that can do the same. How much extra do the container and carrier for it cost ? 1 truck and 1 container cost the same as 1 silage truck. extra containers would cost as much as a large dumpster.
@08150077713 жыл бұрын
Completely nonsense ?! What are the advantages ? Who provides the containers ? Who can handle them ? How much extra do the container and carrier for it cost ? Who will buy the carrier and container , the agricultural wage enterprise or the farmer himself ? How much exra-time does stapling and grabbing the new container cost ? How many tours between farm and field will be saved (I expect none) ? So how many tractors and drivers do you save (I expect none again, right?), or u have a dozen contai

Nice piece of kit! Good idea, saves a lot of hassle with chaser bins and tractors, all the Jag needs to do is dump one bin, pick up the empty and move on, meanwhile a tractor takes the full away for emptying after dumping an empty. mechanised farming is big business!

That's looks to be very slow compared to conventional forms of self propelled methods. Good idea for sure but very time consuming.
