Oh easily.... Although Paris is amazing for a number of different reasons. But with Rome, you just leave there feeling at peace..... well... that's how i felt. Thank you for supporting our channel.

@@TheTravellingTeacher01, I think it’s really hard to come up with a top ten, let alone eight like what you attempted. I simply don’t know how you leave out Latin America, the selection of cities in Europe, and how Beijing gets in instead of Hong Kong or Singapore. Without a doubt, you had good experiences in these cities that you visited, but if you’re looking at common indicators (Michelin starred restaurants, restaurants in the San Pellegrino World’s 50 Best/regional rankings, other lists on street foods, etc.) it’s curious how you land on some of these cities. I used to live in Rome for example and love the local food there, but I would not consider it to be in global top ten simply because the city (as well as other cities in Southern, Eastern, and Central Europe more broadly speaking)does not have anywhere near the level of representation of high-quality global cuisine as London and it is not as sophisticated as Paris (although on a day-to-day basis, I could easily take Rome over Paris). Even Barcelona does not have the variety that London offers, but I find Spanish cuisine to be a good balance between what I could eat every day like in Italy and the sophistication of French cuisine. Not to mention, it’s the home of molecular gastronomy so how do you leave every city in the country off the list? Ok, so if I took a stab at a list, I think it would look like this (in no particular order): 1. London 2. Paris 3. Barcelona 4. Hong Kong 5. Tokyo 6. Bangkok 7. Lima 8. Mexico City 9. Dubai 10. New York City My next five in would be: 1. São Paulo 2. Kyoto 3. San Francisco (including surrounding Bay Area and wine country) 4. Chicago 5. Singapore Also, what do you do about a city like Copenhagen? I wouldn’t put it in a top 20 for day-to-day food, but there is no denying it has some of the top high-end restaurants in the world.
