It's a lot of money for Rwanda. The Gorilla trek permit is $1500. For Uganda and Congo the permit is much cheaper.

Hi, thanks for the comment. I didn't find it to be all that expensive especially if you decide to camp along the beach and already have the gear. The hotel at Kingfisher bay can be quite expensive but there are much cheaper options along 75 mile beach. Hope that helps!

Hi there, were you able to get your drone into KSA easily? I've heard they can confiscate them.
@smallplanetpix

Hi. I was already resident in Saudi Arabia and my drone was registered with their aviation authorities. If you visit with a drone it may be held at customs. Maybe you can get prior approval before travelling.

You just have to be polite but also determined to get the gear on the plane. It's expensive equipment and can't be put in to the hold/cargo area.

I don’t get going into their territory, but if it provides a living for much needed jobs and helps preserve their habitats then I suppose it’s for good
@smallplanetpix
@smallplanetpix 5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Our guide was telling us that it's quite common to see the gorillas in the farm fields close to where people live and work. So i guess their territory is everywhere. We as humans need to learn how to co-exist with the wildlife around us.
