How do you stop your thinner pieces from warping? Mind always seem to bend out of shape as they dry, but I want them to be flat

You are a wonderful mother and there is nothing wrong with creating a beautiful imaginative world. “For if dreams exist, and imaginations grow inventions, then so too can the tooth fairy … exist that is! For she, who was born within the unfurling fronds of a flower, grown by a seedling, which was birthed by your daughter’s newborn laughter.” This is a tiny part of a story I wrote for my own daughter. 😊

Hi...once the clay cools dwn it lwts out some steam ,so do u change the polybag after 24 hrs? Do u refridgrate it?
@angelcraftart908610 ай бұрын
I knead the steam in again to keep the moisture. And I don't refrigerate it, that why i use natrium benzoat to preserve it

I made this recipe about a year ago and made some models. I'm amazed at how easy it is to work with. Cook longer to get rid of moisture if you want less soft clay.

Can I ask about how long it takes to dry? Is it less durable than air clay sold in craft stores?
@e_i_e_i_bro8 ай бұрын
@@endrawandresetn1250 I'd say about a day but it depends on the thickness. I've only ever used Das clay and this one. This one is nice to work with however it can dry with cracks depending on what you're doing with it. All of the small things I've made dried smooth and perfect but the one large thing I made had cracking. Mind you I'm not an expert om clay. I'm new to it and could be doing something wrong. Hit or miss. I'd say it's the best homemade recipe.

Hi, I love these planters , they came out amazing ! The only thing I wld like to know is that what have you used (glue or something) when you attached the nose, eyes, mushrooms etc.. I understand that you scrached the surface a little bit, but then you put something on the nose which looked like glue, but Im not sure. How the nose stay there ? Thank you.
@angelcraftart9086 Жыл бұрын
I'm glad you liked it! To attach the parts I used a mixture of the clay and water, that will act like glue and help them to stay. I hope this information can be helpful ❤
