For some reason people keep missing the part about Diego. The one who recited the poem was the real supreme leader who basically found peace the same way Meruem had. He retired ages ago and got his body double to stand in. The body double being a corrupt POS that Meruem destroyed is just the irony of this whole situation. Meruem took around 1 month to come to the same conclusion that the real Diego had as an adult. If given the chance, could he have lived like Diego in a countryside somewhere with Komugi? We won't know because Netero and the politicians decided it's impossible.

End of a great journey, my fav anime! Not sure how u interpreted the quick Gotoh scene at the end, as many reactors were confused, but Gotoh did die and the are filling his position with one of the magical beasts from the beginning to hide from Killua. And I don’t want to spoil anything in the manga but the future of hxh dives into some incredibly exciting things. If an anime continuation never gets announced I would love to follow a manga reaction from in the future! It covers some complex topics, contains a lot of text, and at times requires a lot of thinking but it is very fun. (Chap 339 if you’re interested)

Sounds like you figured the most the Kite stuff. The thing most people stay confused upon is how he got reincarnated in the first place as his body was never consumed. The only answer we have for this as of now is the answer Ging gave last episode with Kite’s Crazy Slots. Gon and Killua splitting up in the end always makes me sad:(

What all do you want to know about the election? The winner (the person that gets a majority with at least 95% of Hunters voting) becomes the chairman. The chairman runs the Hunter Association. That means they do can do things like reforming the Hunter Association bylaws, change the Hunter exam, and manage the contracts the Hunter Association takes on (for instance the Hunter Association was contracted to deal with the Ants). There are lot of people that don't like the way Netero ran the association for a variety of reason (some of bylaws and the structure of the Hunter Exam in particular) so the election has major consequences for Hunters going forward.

If you wanna see what happens after the series you can read the manga as well because i dont think they will be releasing any of the new episodes anytime soon

If the requests are failed that person and possibly many more people, depending on the severity of the last wish, may die. Illumi estimated the wish to heal Gon would cost tens of thousands of lives which is crazy to think about.

Gran mini arco el tema de Alluka

So the gender of Alluka is one of the biggest debates among Hunter x Hunter fans. There are two competing theories (and of course Togashi never clarifies for us because Togashi seems to really not care about the gender of multiple characters in the series). So you have the one theory above (Alluka is a girl and the blacked eyed thing is a boy/he). The other theory is that Alluka is a trans girl. Alluka was assigned male at birth but identifies as a girl. Some in her family respect her wishes and others don't. I won't push one interpretation on you or the other. Feel free to think through that arc with both interpretations in mind. I feel like you get you similar feelings regardless of which way you view it, but feel free to let us know if you think the different interpretations change how you view it!

The void eyed entity fulfilling the wishes and asking for requests is a He/It, While Alluka herself is a She Killua refers to her in female and Zoldycks refer to him as a male

I remember around the 100 episodes, you said that "we know a show is great when he doesn't rely only on the main character." I think this last arc of the adaptation or the 60 chapters after the anime or the end of chimera ant arc is really a good representation of this sentence.

The final arc of the anime is something people either love or hate. I personally love it because my second favorite character is introduced. So the reason they haven't adapted anything new is that the current arc is perhaps only halfway complete. They have published 60 manga chapters after the anime (that could make about 30 episodes). I think people assumed we would never get an end to this current manga arc. There was a 4 year hiatus that ended this past year. Now it is on hiatus again. I can't really imagine Togashi getting more than 10 chapters out a year if we see it again this year. Togashi has tweeted he completed the next chapter, but they probably won't release it until he is nearly complete with a batch of 10 chapters.

The zodiacs are Netero level cracked, and it is suspected that Netero didn't ask for help because he selfishly wanted a good fight for himself, he was grateful for a challenging foe, otherwise he could have solved the situation by asking any nation to nuke the palace or the queen's lair from afar even before the king is born and call it "mission done" without the hassle of fighting, and if you remember, Netero kept wasting time on grunts and squad leaders until the king got born

I really appreciate you putting Reina and her mom as the thumbnail. Most others focus on Ging, but I always felt Reina was the most important part of the episode. There is something about when the mom says to her that of course she knew it was her because she is her mother that gets me everytime. Also just how accepting they are all. Wouldn't it be great if more actual people were like that?

Kurapika sounds familiar cuz his actress has voiced many famous characters. Raiden from Genshin, Saeko, Bishamon, etc.

I know a lot of people praise the character development of the king in this arc, but I want to talk about Palm. The first time I watched the arc, I hated her so much. But somehow Ant Palm is 1000x cooler than human Palm. Human Palm was so flat as a character and too obsessive. But Ant Palm is complex and insightful. Watching again I gave human Palm a lot more grace and it made the scenes more enjoyable. Also I feel like people's feelings towards this arc depend on how they feel about Palm, Ikalgo, and Welfin. You get the whole plotline of Ikalgo looking for Palm with Welfin trying to stop him. And that storyline seems mainly a distraction from the main more important storyline. Then Togashi comes out of left field and makes it the most important storyline because they were the last three standing vs Meruem. I think it is just hard for some people to like the author centering character they feel are throwaway characters.
