i just stumbled upon your channel so i’m wayyy late to this vid but it was so relatable! my first ever plant i got last year for free was a little monstera deliciosa - it was thriving up until i went to visit family in december for the holidays and came back to it suffering from root rot (i overwatered before i left and it wasn’t super sunny while i was gone) i panicked and chopped it up into 5 salvageable segments with 1-2 leaves each and stuck them all in water. once they all put out roots i transferred all but one into soil and now 6 months later i’ve got 5 thriving members of monstera nation! their names are monty, mozart, mcfly, mowgli, and machiavelli - he’s still in a vase bc i wanted to grow one hydroponically. thinking i’ll combine a couple into one large pot in the future because im not sure how practical having 5 monsteras in my apartment will be as they get larger but for now they’re just chilling! i honestly have the root rot incident to thank for the fact that i now i own 20 plants & have a new hobby/obsession because after going from 1 monstera to 5 at the beginning of this year, i felt the need to diversify my collection 😂

Hello great video. Apparently Japanese Knotweed is a healthy versatile food . There's other KZfaq videos featuring people cooking foraging and eating the stuff raw. I think deer like eating this plant as well.

New sub here! I just moved to the woods in Northern Minnesota and the power company came by and had to take down a Northern Red Oak due to its proximity to the power lines😫! To my surprise , young shoots started coming from the old trunk which I am trying to propagate! I'm excited to try your process to any NRO acorns I see! I'll let you know😊❤️

@WesleysPlantWorld22 күн бұрын
Hej!

Yes you can put it in water. As long as you have a root node it will produce new roots and then you can pot it up in soil. Good luck with the process 😊🪴

I have a scary amount of knotweed in a section of my backyard. I've been encouraged big time because de-rooting them by my house has gotten them away from my house. Now that I know what works, fall is going to be a lot of work killing these awful things.
