Well that's very reason why this one is in my bay , he attempted to replace brake line and front brakes, he ended up frying his brake module , it set a hard fault he ended up spending $2,500 to fix it

Oh come on Steve it ain't that bad. imagine you had to work on an old rusty K20 Chev with drum brakes & a full floater axle, Rusty, leaking wheel cylinders, needed to be replaced, then the steel brake lines we're Rusty and needed to be replaced on the frame to the cab mounts. To top it off the master cylinder needs to be replaced cause it would not hold pressure. Cheer up there Steve, maybe the new cars aren't so bad.

I wanted to take my throttle body off my 2011 Silverado 5.3 to clean it but I had read you needed a scanner to make the system relearn it that’s why I haven’t took it off. I’ve done this a few times and never considered taking out the stud. That step alone will save a you a lot of time and energy.

All you do is put the rear brake in service mode before replacement of the pads and rotors when you done you take it out of service mode or we called calibration
