Mapid is a very beautiful place but why persist in calling it an island? Mapid IS NOT an island. It is not completely surrounded by water.

Hi, I’m just wondering in my own thoughts you can’t reach Mapid by land only by boat or aircraft and when I was there it was surrounded by water , the land area of that barangay is in the center and both side are water how I wish I have drone camera to show that it was surrounded by water, but anyway thanks for watching, have a good day!

May nakita akong video about the Battle of Manila, it was heartbreaking how the beautiful city of Manila was burned and destroyed in 1945. And the great art deco Manila Metropolitan Theater was bombed. Buti na lang it was faithfully restored.

Napakaganda pala ng loob ng Manila Metropolitan Theater. Salamat sa mga taong naging bahagi ng restoration nito. Lagi kong nadaraanan ito papuntang school ko nuong college ako sa PLM. I will visit the place someday. Two thumbs up.

The moment I saw the concrete walkways-- it's a fail!!! No forests have concrete walkways throughout. Why must all areas have structures and can't those signs be at least discreet as to not ruin the aesthetics? This is just a simple park, not a forest.

I was in these premises in 2008 or 2009. It was condemned. In shambles almost. It goes without saying a lot of people are glad it’s been restored.
