this is all so incredibly beautiful! (but fyi the Rachmaninoff is labeled incorrectly -- it's Op. 39 no. 9 in D major)

챠이콥스키 콩쿨에서 연주하는걸 들었는데 급이 달라요. 아주 인상적이었습니다. 어렸을때 발트슈타인 연습하던 생각이 나네요. 이 소나타는 박하우스 연주로 처음 들었는데 2악장 처음 들었을때 오로라 처럼 신비로워서 충격이었어요. 그 소리가 아주 오랜 세월이 지나도 잊혀지지 않네요. 3악장 옥타브 프레스토 연습할때 한손 옥타브로 하면서 너무 안돼서 고생했던 생각도 나네요. 훌륭한 연주자로 세상을 다니며 널리 많은 사람들에게 좋은 연주 들려주시길 바랍니다.

Absolutely loved this performance! I'm flummoxed how in May 2023 this only has 10 likes! Great program bookended by China Gates and the voluptuous Scriabin 5. Brava!

꼭 ff가 아니어도 과장되거나 강렬한 표현이 없더라도 은근하며 지긋이 진실되게 그만큼의 효과를 끌어냄. 모짜르트가 프로그램에 없지만 모짜르트가 생각날 만큼 모든 연주가 정갈하고 깔끔 정돈 되어있다. 단순히 페달을 깨끗하게 쓴 것을 넘어서 음악 자체가 깨끗하다.

Beguiling, lovely, nuanced -- but the creaking piano bench makes it hard to give it more than one listen... I trust you had a quieter bench for your recording on Avie, which received such warm praise from Patrick Rucker in Gramophone (and which is in my shopping cart)!
