In the book, the hunter lasts much longer, and takes a bunch of dinos with him.

My mom and dad made sure all three of us kids watched Young Frankenstein in our childhoods (they fast-forwarded through the - ahem - operatic moments). It was INSTRUMENTAL in our developing senses of humor: Walk This Way, Frau Blucher, Sed-a-Give, Abby Normal, and Put Ze Kendel Bech! became daily use in our household, and I STILL use them frequently. Young Frankenstein is truly genius, seminal, a generational touchstone, and it's so wonderful to see how in-tune you were with it from the first scenes!

As a science teacher, I show this to my middle school classes every year with a quiz. The last question is: What was the last dinosaur of the movie? Some will put T. rex, some will put Velociraptor, maybe some particularly attentive kid will answer Brachiosaurus (because it called as they boarded the helicopter), but the answer is Pelican. This movie went hard on the birds are dinosaurs theory that wasn’t well known to the public at the time and has become even more supported with fossils since the movie came out.

I've seen quite a few of your reactions so far, but this, by far, is my favorite! I wish I could find a woman who enjoys Monty Python as much as you enjoyed this movie. ❤ 14:13 John Cleese took so long to deliver his line, Eric Idle had to bite his scythe to keep from laughing. The witch was played by Connie Booth, who was married to John Cleese at the time. Monty Python was a British sketch comedy group that had a tv show in the 70s called Monty Python's Flying Circus. I definitely think you should check that out and maybe do a reaction series. They have three movies of original material. I think I saw your reaction to Life of Brian. I'll have to check that out, maybe watch it again. Their final movie, Monty Python's Meaning of Life is worth watching too. I hope you'll do it some day.

8:21 Barbasol had a anniversary for being a part of Jurassic Park. Actually they were celebrating Jurassic Park 25th anniversary along with advertising for Jurassic World all of the Jurassic World movies. Also, the guy who has the barber Allen has done a lot of movies and you may have seen him in Seinfeld 13:24 human DNA would definitely be a disaster, it would be the planet of the dinosaurs equivalent to the planet of the apes You definitely need to see the rest of this franchise😅 28:43 in the behind the scenes special they said they used a bass guitar with the subwoofer to create not only the Tyrannosaurus rex roar, but also the footsteps of the Tyrannosaurus rex

My father took me to see this in the theater when it came out in 1984; I was 10. Even as a kid I re-watched over and over again on VHS, and then started noting the inuendo laced within, like, "That's the bedroom. Nothing ever happened there." "What... A... Crime..." Every watch got funnier and funnier from a kid and continues now. Easily in the top 10 movies of all time for me. People now hate watching it with me unless I promise to stay quiet, since I can easily repeat it line by line.

Other great 80s movies or better yet 80s movies franchises that you should check out at least the first ones if not the whole franchises. Revenge of the Nerds has 4 movies in there set, first three are pretty good 4 not so much. Police Academy has I believe 5 or 6 movies, and I enjoyed them all. But first 3 are probably the best ones. Then there are two short circuit movies that are both great and finally Tremors has I've recently learned 7 movies but I've only seen first 4 but are really good for what they are.

In the beginning of your video, you were describing a scene from Jurassic Park 3 where the plane attempts to take off and it's a Spinosaurus, not a T-Rex that comes out and eats one of their guys who was left behind.

Fun fact, in the novelization of the movie, which had element of the script that had Eddie Murphy playing Winston. The dream of Ray and the ghost was NOT a dream, but something that happen to Ray , when he and Winston was on a call. The novel is a good read, that adds a lot of background to the characters, like how Peter was from a Carnival Family and so learned to grift from his father and the others. They also had Winston as an ex member of the air force , then changed to an ex marine. I always thought it was a shame they cut that, as I believe he could still be an "every man" type of character and still be ex armed forces. Also , it is said Sigourney Weaver got her role when she was to ask to pretend to possessed by a Demon Dog in her casting interview, what she did impressed them so much, she more or less got the part.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the fact that 1985 Emmet Brown was shot by Bufford in wild west corrects all the timelines. There is no time traveler Emmet anymore, 1955 Emmet is well aware that time machine he invented couse all of troubles, so he will not build it anymore, and will become 1985 Emmet by the course of natural flow of time. I think 1985 Emmet knew that so he wrote to Marty never to come back for him to old west. So all of this third part is pointless and screw all things up again. The time machine hidden in mine should be used only to send Marty to his year and thats all.

Before letting me watch this as a kid, my parents watched it first and my mom couldn’t believe when she read about it saying this was a family-friendly movie, she finished the film and first thought that came came to mind was this is a family, friendly movie? they ended up letting me watch it, but I was a chicken when I was a kid and the part where Alan got sucked into the game, absolutely terrified me as a kid, and I would bury my head in a pillow and plugged my ears until the scene was over, cause it traumatized me so much. Of course, now looking back I can’t believe I let myself be so freaked out by it, but I will go on to say that I definitely would not say it’s a child friendly movie. I’m surprised it’s only rated PG even the new ones which I would even consider more family friendly are PG- 13. I guess the rating system was a little more lenient back then😅
