Some people just watch so they can pick apart what they don’t like. It has everything to do with their sense of superiority and own misery and little to do with your existence in the space. Sorry for the live commentary lol

I think it depends on how you apply shadows too. I don’t like to pack my brush, just layer it up so my palettes generally don’t show as much usage initially. I also use my finger to apply shimmers most of the time and it takes a lot less to get the color impact I want. If I use brushes for that you can definitely see the usage sooner.
