That all blacked out bike will be filthy in the first rain storm. The fenders suck, and offer no protection from the road/ rain.

Soooo a speed twin for performance and a scrambler for your off road likings?? lol the Bonnie’s are cruising … the lols of retro and role with what they offer. Great vid though!! Loved it! Saved and subscribed!! 😊

I had the Tiger 800XR and loved it. Took it across Texas, up through New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana and then over to South Dakota through the black hill mountains and back down to South Texas. It was super comfortable for long rides and wasn't too big so I would just jump on it to ride around town or to work. The newer Tigers are even better but seems like the price is up 25% or more

Obviously, you took care of that bike...it looks new for 15k miles. Good luck with your new Triumph Tiger : )

After listening to your dislikes, I think you should have purchased a different Triumph. Maybe the Scrambler or Street Twin. Maybe check those two out. I'm 69 years old and my days of getting bent out of shape cornering are long gone, so for me and my Bonnie T120 it's the perfect fit for me. For all the reasons you stated and that I won't be tempted into stupidity as in the days of my 85 GPz 900! I'm really lucky to be alive thinking of all the stupid moves I did back in the day. But, I'm glad you enjoyed your T120 and hope you find your utopia bike in the future. Cheers.

nice review on the positives of the bike - beautiful bike. but the negatives you listed are simply not. you've changed your riding preferences as many do, the bike is fine;

If you want a little more power and performance, put an xpipe on it 👍😊

Thanks for this video! I’ve spent hours looking for a good comprehensive comparison between these two bikes and this was very enjoyable to watch. You’re easy to listen to

If you want something that is more dual sport they make a model called the scrambler. The Bonneville isStreet only. You picked the wrong motorcycle.

You'll get either the Twin 1200 or the Scrambler 1200 XE.....if you decide to stay in the Triumph zone, of course...

Wonderful review! Returning (hopefully) rider from 40 years ago and I'm torn between the Hunter 350 and the Triumph Speed 400. It would seem that the Hunter's low 20 hp is sufficiently compensated for by the long-stroke under-square bore/stroke ratio. From what I'm seeing from various Hunter reviews is that the "surprise" from many reviewers about the Hunter's capability might stem from the torque being able to sustain the bike at 65 mph. In any event, I ask you, was the Hunter vibey much at 60-65? This is all I plan on doing max. I have also heard that the Speed 400 is more than a little vibey at that same range. And here is where I am guessing that the Hunter's extra weight might help as it might feel more planted. Thoughts anyone?

All ya gotta do is put some off-road tires on it. I suggest Dunlop Trailmax Missions. They’re like 70/30 tires and last a long time. 👍🏻👍🏻

Good review. Oddly, or not, Im going the opposite direction. I have a BMW R1200 GS and Im looking to buy/trade for something less tall, less powerful/fast, and less dirt worthy lol.

Love this review, it answered all the questions I had about the t120. I have Kawasaki z900rs and the peg position is killing my knees, and it’s the most jerkiest bike I’ve ever ridden
