Günaydin I think you are using way too much starch for the berries. Are you trying to create lukum❓ 40 grams are enough for thickening the whole package of berries.. Starch has a distinctive aftertaste that is very strong if overused. I love the general idea anyway . Puff pastry could be replaced with kadaïf (angel hair) noodles Tesakurler. Mm.

As a lover of cheesecake, this looks amazing! However, I've never used vanilla pods before, so I'm wondering what's the equivalent in vanilla essence? Is one tablespoon enough?

You don't use butter for Uzbek pilaf, canim. First off, you need mutton lard and cotton oil. The rest doesn't have much to do with Uzbek/Tajik plov/pilaf recipes either.

That looks delicious. However, I don’t know why people worry about fat. I eat lots of fat and meat. The only time I ever gain weight is when I eat sugar and starchy things. That doesn’t make you fat lol but that sure does look like a tasty cake

I cannot agree more with Bahar’s comment! Even here in the US there is a move to start supporting the “small” shops that are more local. I love seeing this in Türkiye and even still - when I go, or have friends go and pick up and ship things for me if I cannot get them shipped myself from there. It is an amazing thing Türkiye has going on there in response to food, markets, plants, seeds, spices and more - part of what made me fall in love with Türkiye!

OH I am so glad to be able to be back to watch you again! It’s been a year and I didn’t get to go to Türkiye this year. I have a severe spinal injury - but surgery is finally in just over 2 weeks and inshallah I will be able to travel back to the home of my heart!! Missed you guys a bunch! And the food you teach me to cook - Oh my!
