I have had that very same experience with hiring. I'd rather have someone looking to learn than to tell me what they could do better. Not that they aren't possibly able to do infinitely better but tells me you're not open to criticism

Sometimes you get both. I’ve been a kitchen manager for 10 years and cooked for 20. I wanted to do something different and started at the bottom somewhere else to learn new things specifically

Biggest problem with contractors is 90% are convicted felons, sleazy operators, unprofessional, habitually late, etc. Unfortunately, that is holding the industry back.

There’s a fuckload of people willing and capable of being someone’s physician or family practitioner but the schooling is super biased, gatekept, and so bloody expensive. No one wants to go into debt for the life a doctor, practitioner, or nurse has. Once society realizes that some jobs are just necessary and that we all actually want the willing to get educated as easily and effectively as possible.

Perhaps if our Republican lawmakers weren't focused on chasing Hunter Biden, kissing Trump's ring, canceling ObamaCare with no replacement, overturning Roe vs. Wade, they could have accomplished this. Unfortunately, we're at the mercy of billionaires to solve such problems inspire of the trillions of dollars in taxes our government gets.

Yes, we need this desperately! I've written code for PBM's and yes, they do NOTHING but they sell their data so, for example, automobile insurance companies can create mathematical formulas to increase car insurance rates based on medications a person is prescribed. Get rid of them and thank you Mark Cuban!

Technically the PBMs negotiate "rebates" from a fake MSRP, but the business model exists to increase the MSRP for a variety of stupid tax and accounting reasons.
