Gardens there are really coming along. I've got some mystery squash too. Been saving seed and although they cross regularly up till now have got what was expected. However, this year I think it's a cross between a zucchini and a pumpkin. Help. 🐶

I thought surely Jeff will give me an answer as to what those wee buds are. Alas you have declined to commit and let it remain a mystery. From what you can see do you think it might be pumpkin?

@@freddiemoretti8456 Close up, acorn, does it have the ribs and a little pointy on one end? Is it green on one end, zyphyr summer squash is a long bulb shape. There are some winters that you can eat young like a summer. My guess is my mystery is a summer that will get so large and unedible then wont mature or last like a winter. Whatever Brut is guarding mine. This is what puts the community in community gardens. I always like to put a trombonica in public gardens where i volunteer.

I’ll bet that one of those cranes could inflict some serious damage on the human anatomy if they decided to start pecking and flogging lol Luckily it doesn’t appear that they are aggressive towards humans though.

I like the Sandhill cranes. Flocks of them migrate over my area, spring and summer. I had a house wren that fought his reflection in my truck's outside mirror for two years. Very entertaining!

Just back from FL ran into some snow squalls in WV mountains. Drove through New River Gorge drive tour for first time. Some great water falls. I don't think we meet, nice to see your friend open the video.

Well done Freddie, we are getting your storm tonight, the wind is howling out there, at least it is all rain. All the snow has gone and I have potatoes growing in the back yard, this is the second year they have made it through the winter. take care.

I moved from Florida to New Hampshire and I am no longer doing pottery. You could show this video to a woodworking instructor in a high school and they could probably make you one. Good luck. Cheers...Freddie

Glad you enjoyed the video Jeff. Hoping to catch wildlife on film in the future. Saw deer out front the other night when I took Murphy out in the dark. Watching out for bears is the norm too. Say hi to your Mum and both of you stay well. Cheers...Freddie

Hello Freddie Thanks for sending this link to me. I thoroughly enjoyed your journey and your obvious talent in many fields of craft Since I can so relate, I liked your pic in fatigue uniform with those mosquito wings🫡 I subscribed and thanks again for your comments on my old video. Sorry for the delay in responding too👍

Don Baird, they have not been fed by anyone in this household, in this case you are wrong. The male crane was protecting his family from the image he was seeing in the window which he was sure meant him harm, especially when it spread it's wings and was appearing aggressive.
@JThom-yh3ef Жыл бұрын
Don Baird your comment just goes to show you that you know nothing about these birds. Have you not been paying attention what the homeowner was saying when he was speaking to him?
@dinasalinas2987 Жыл бұрын
Why don't you just feed them!!!!
@freddiemoretti8456 Жыл бұрын
I don't have a collection of the foods they eat. Seeds, plant tubers, grains, berries, insects, earthworms, mice, snakes, lizards, frogs and crayfish. However they are very adept at digging hole in the back yard to feed themselves, and I wouldn't want them to become dependent on me bringing food. Cheers...Freddie
