@@dabster7438 There are lots of good breeders in the UK, make sure they are Working Cocker Spaniels (not show) Recommended Breeder in the UK is Fran Ardley of Tarncrag Gundogs, You can find her on Facebook. Working Cockers are great in the home with family and being a small dog. They are dog that should be active everyday, whether hunting, training or dog sports like agility. A bored Cocker is trouble. When I got my rescue Cocker 3 years ago, I was out walking with him when a man commented on him. "He's a hunting dog," I told him. The man snorted derisively, "Yeah, right!" Well! I was highly offended. It wasn't until recently when I watched your videos that I realized Charlie acts just like Archie and I could actually work with him. I have always thought something happened to separate Charlie from his family when they were on a hunting lease in West Virginia, because he was picked up on the back roads, just skin and bones. Covered in scabs, hardly any fur, from fleas. He had Lyme disease and a broken leg. You would never know now that he experienced such trauma. I just wanted you to know that because I've watched your videos, I've made an appointment for field training. I'm so excited to add this new dimension to our relationship. And I have you to thank for it.

Oh my gosh I want to get on a plane with my Cocker Charlie and come to New Zealand! Just so we can hang out with you and your dogs. I'm 72, Charlie is about 10 years old, my second rescue cocker. I've never had a dog as driven as Charlie, who acts just like Archie only I don't have the control I need to have. Fortunately, we're surrounded by woods and fields, so I give him as much of that life as I can. He was picked up on the back roads of West Virginia and I've always thought he got lost on a hunting lease. Poor buddy. He was skin and bones, with a terrible flea infestation, all scabby and hardly any fur. On top of that, Lyme disease and a broken leg. He looks like a different dog now, but through it all, he's been a charmer. A very special dog. Thanks so much for this video. It helps me understand Charlie so much better.
