Did you plant this tree yourself? How many years did it take to start to produce fruit?
@UCanBuildThis3 күн бұрын
Yes we did. We planted it 8-10 years ago. We didn’t know how to prune it so it’s pretty…awkward shaped but it still produces fruit! It took about three years to produce fruit so if you’re thinking about buying one, there is no time like the present 😉. Also, apple trees are cross pollinators so you’ll need two of them and plant them somewhat close to each other.

Thank you very much for watching. It could be considered overkill for sure but I wanted it to be tall and I figured our Wisteria was going to be heavy, so I beefed it up. I'm sorry but... where else do you expect ants to be?? It's like going outside and being angry that there is dirt on the ground. This is very odd and against nature. How disconnected we have become.
@Sir.BayleTheCrusaiderАй бұрын
Are you slow? Since ppl started farming this has been an issue because why? It’s our food. No shit ants are going to be around. Keeping them away is the issues. How disconnected from reality are you? This is actually insane to me.
@Sir.BayleTheCrusaiderАй бұрын
Farmers and herders for thousands of years had to deal with nature you might need to get off the hippy dipstick side of the internet. You can’t peacefully coexist with everything all the time even animals and plants deal with this. Tell me again how that’s being disconnected.
@tofuluvrr837Ай бұрын
@@Sir.BayleTheCrusaider oddly ableist jab. There are natural ways of working with nature, not killing its other inhabitants. Any naturalist knows this. And yes, naturalists grow food. And yes, we were all naturalists at one time.
@UCanBuildThisАй бұрын
I feel ants play a very important role in our existence but too much of a good thing can turn bad. Is that an unfair statement? We are doing things to coexist in our garden to have a balance but there were too many ants which were killing our broccoli. If the ants kills our plants before we are able to get the beneficial ones to grow then it is a problem.

So you're just gonna colonize the ants territory huh lol... they are supposed to be there sir. They were there before you were & aren't going anywhere. Work with nature not against it. Plant flowers that will attract ant eating birds to keep the population under control. But you need them. They are helping you more than hurting you as they are constantly tending to your garden & a food souce for creatures you want in your garden.
@UCanBuildThisАй бұрын
Hi there. Thanks for commenting. I agree ants are good until they start destroying veggies. We do have other plants in the garden to bring in beneficial bugs and wildlife. Is it a fair statement to say too much of a good thing (ants), can become a bad thing. They ended up destroying two of our broccoli plants. The creme of wheat won’t kill all of them but it will control their population for a time which will give my other plants time to grow.
