I was thinking this is pretty cool until you said drill concrete without the hammer. WTF. Concrete doesn’t crack with the hammer function. It’s obviously not concrete that is capable of standing upright for the next 100 years.

Do you need to do this for every socket and outlet required. What about internet, phone, smart home wiring. Then there’s water, floor heating, gas as well to go in and the rippling makes it difficult to fasten anything down. 3d printing seems to be an answer to a question nobody really asked for or researched properly.

Lol.... Your electric install just skyrocketed... One the more costly professions on the job, far as time/money. 3ksqft home around 15-20k most areas. This would effectively 2-4x my work load on a home. You pay me for expertise, not so much labor. But the labor doesn't drop if I'm doing general labor. I'd move from bid from 15k-20k to 30-35k, if not more. Unless your going to drill all the holes correctly. Its licensed permit work required, is no Joe blow to replace with for cheap. -electrian

I recommend building a very sturdy table that holds the drill on an advancing platform (similar to a drawer but incredibly sturdy), so the hole cutter is not wobbling around during wall insertion. The table/drill setup can be set to outlet height, light switch height, and wall-mounted TV outlet and cable termination height.

I mean, in 'traditional' 3d printing, we use supports that are removed later. Fancier printer setups have two nozzles; the 2nd sometimes used for just support. Watching these concrete printers, it seems that just putting a square box, if not an actual electrical outlet box frame, on the last printed layer would only require 'cleanup' with a trowel in that area, since the concrete would 'blob' around the box.

Are all the walls hollow? Someone in another comment section said they are filled with concrete and the 3D printed part is more of a concrete form.

those shapes can eaily be made by hand. and much much faster. use that printer for something more complex. its a waste of machinery.

There's some contractors using one of your machines without dusting off the slab (or flat out leaving mud on it to be printed over) and having concerning overhang

Looks like the cost of electrical and plumbing will be high. Wonder how they water proof the exterior of the walls, concrete is very porous.
