Billy Elliot is very close to my own life story. Born in Teeside in the 70s, started dancing in the 80s at the same time as the miners strike, got ridiculed for it from the so-called men in the area, went to Scotland to train then then left for America to dance professionally and never looked back. The show touches a very personal nerve for me. Brilliant.

Who played Billy in this?

The camera conveniently rolls before each scare, probably to cover for the video being cut to allow setup. As another comment pointed out, there is a roll before the head on the top shelf falls and it’s at a completely different angle after the roll. Remember, theater people are very good at practical effects . Lots of entertaining theatrics here, but likely no ghosts.

That's a lot to ask of a young boy. Amazing how they all stepped up to the plate.

This is so fake. All the wobbles and jumps make this look like it’s an old vhs tape. Anything digital doesn’t do that. Yet the cam 003 and the date stamp (which wobble with the footage and therefore we’re on the tape) are otherwise at a much higher resolution than the video. In other words the technology here makes no possible sense. The jumps are where I suspect some has had to reset the fishing wire for the next scare. Finally the spinning manakin head moves a further inch or so in the last cut. I assume whatever was attached to it was removed and attached to the lower wigs to make them fall. Whoever did that didn’t put them back right.
