62 throttle must of got stuck open . He made zero hits beside the wall and bent his own frame. Should have just thorn the car into neutral and figured it out

Been watching lots of derby on KZfaq, 1 thing that is prevalent, Michigan drivers tend to be really soft, lots of sandbagging and weak driving

My father raced Michigan Figure Eights with Sunny from 1999-2008!! How they still finding Steel Lagunas & Malibus & the kind of cars needed for this race is beyond me!! They were hard to find back then.

My father use to race in the championship at munger. Him, my uncle are one of the originals to start. My dad has won 4 championships as my uncle won 2. My dad has done 2 big car Derby's but he retired after the last one due to his car being absolutely crushed. My dad broke his neck and bruised his spine there. I was there when it all happened. Idk if my uncle TJ is still racing but if he is. Its prob his white, blue and red car rwd. Goes by the name T.J spegel. Hes one of the originals from munger. I plan on goin into the derby one these days.

This promoter here in Michigan that promoted this show is very good at catching the drivers door hits. They are 100% about the safety.

Oh it’s a blast to watch in person. This next weekend USA Demolition Derby & Figure 8 has a Figure Eight Championship in Munger, Michigan they is absolutely awesome! The best of the best racing and they put on a heck of a show

They had what they had available. This venue is coming back to life after 30 years of not having action on it. It’s a work in progress but it’s definitely getting better after 2 years
