its hard to book the ryokan may i know how much u pay per room ?
@kathchoice6 күн бұрын
Hi, if not wrong it was about 600 SGD for 3 people. It included dinner and breakfast. We checked the website almost 3 times daily before managed to secure a booking. Normally closer to the date, more rooms are available.

Omg so pretty! Do you know if the night time illumination is available in Fall or is it only for winter?
@kathchoice8 күн бұрын
Ikr. It is even pretty if you can see it in person. In the video, I have to mute the music due to copyright issues. Seems it is only available during winter. Normally starting mid Dec to mid Feb.

Hello, how did you book the small boat tour? And how much pls?
@kathchoiceАй бұрын
Hi, we didn’t book the boat tour. We just asked the fisherman on the spot when we saw he was taking passengers in. We paid directly to him. The exact spot where we took the boat is shown at minutes 16 in the video. It costed 1000 yen per person. Price might change since we did the tour last year. If not wrong there were 6 private tour boats there.

Thanks for the virtual tour! My wife, daughter, and I are training for pedaling the Shikoku Circuit, cycling 1000 kilometers around Shikoku in 11 days, in early June 2028. Any suggestions?
@kathchoice2 ай бұрын
That’s sound so exciting. Shikoku is very beautiful especially during summer. I don’t have much suggestions. Some places in Japan doesn’t accept card, it is good to have enough cash with you. You can also use delivery services for your luggages. It is very convenient so you can travel light. Another suggestion (based on my cycling experience), because normally bus doesn’t allow us to bring in our bicycle, you might want to check a pick up service you can call in case of emergency.

@@kathchoice Good advice! I'll write this down. Any suggestions about luggage delivery services and 🚲 pickup services? We don't have those in rural eastern Idaho and I'm unfamiliar with them. My wife and I are studying written and spoken Japanese, and I am writing down the route information in Japanese and English. And I am working on translating and understanding the restaurant and coffee shop menus on the route.
@kathchoice2 ай бұрын
@Mr.NotImportant-qu5rx for luggage delivery service normally we use TA-Q-BIN. Most of the time we send luggage from 1 hotel to another. Normally hotel receptionist helps us with the delivery arrangement (you need cash for this). Some convenience stores do offer TA-Q-BIN service also. The bicycle pick up company we used before is called WAKKA. You might need to check their area of service and whether the bicycle rental company accepts bicycles being returned by a third party. Google translate do helps a lot.

@kathchoice3 ай бұрын
Hi @johny4640, so excited for you to be able to visit Risonare soon. They are connected so don’t worry. Shuttle bus is provided as well for those who doesn’t want to walk or have too many things to carry (like ski equipment etc). There are a lot to explore there (cable car, cloud chairs, cafe on top of the mountain, indoor wave pool, etc). I believe you will enjoy your time there. :)
