You can record system audio and hear it at the same time: After following this video, open Soundflowerbed.app (it should be in the soundflower folder in applications), click the new flower icon in the menu bar, and choose "built-in output" below Soundflower (2ch). It "worked" once with terrible echo effect. AFter that I tried changing System audio settings and then whatever I change no audio is recorded whatsoever.

Don't use that crap. Download a vst like "KarmaFX" It's free and 10 times easier to add reverb to a vocal. I use Audacity for everything. Check out my music, you will see I use reverbs in audacity.

I just found out that also has to do with the silence that goes after your vocal. try cut out some silence n see if it works

Ok, i figured that actually today, but thanx anyways.

Unfortunately, you can't use earphones as well as using the Soundflower extension. Basically Soundflower allows the computer to listen to itself, but this means you yourself can't listen, if that makes sense? I'm sure there may be a different way of doing this which enables you to listen while the computer records the sound, but Im not sure myself how to do that yet.

Why doesn't my version have GVerb? I just downloaded it about a week ago....

@jdondo113butterfly Its called "GVerb" and it is in 1.2.5 however he is using v1.3

I did this with exact same settings it was like 10 times too much! What is the key thing to adjust down? Someone mentioned amplification above but the gverb has not setting for amplification. Ideas?

There's a free plugin for Audacity called DX Reverb Light (Google it and download that one that ends in "(VST)") that has reverb presets if you don't feel like doing all this every time. I just got it the other day and it's quite nice.
