Great video. One more question: Can this technique also be used to modulate any parameter of any third party VST3/Plugin? Thank you in advance. Cheers. The only thing I miss from Cubase is the modular LFO-modulation environment, like Bitwig has.

Though I appreciate it, I find the tutorial regarding the firmware update overly concise. If the amplitude is too low, you can use the 'Time' knob as a gain. In my case I had to set my laptop volume to a 100 and set 'Time' to 2 o'clock. If it fails, you'll see all leds flash together. Press the 'Freeze' button to retry. The quality led acts as a guide with regard to optimal level. Though the manual states that the quality led should show yellow for optimal signal I have found in my case that it is green. If it fades to black/off you need to up the gain.

This is top level of tutorials. This is what impossible to create for most of the people, who dont know exect routs of modulation. I mean, you can know all the theory basics, and spend many hours of trying to recreate what you heard, and it will not be possible to get what you need. These knowledge is so deep and specific that it is accessible only to those who are given this ability to understand the nature of modulations and fine tunings. This knowledge was very valuable secrets, that for many years no one wanted to reveal to anyone. 20 years ago, when I was trying to find someone, who could show me what and how to tune on the synthesizer, I could not find and learn almost nothing. There were only a few soft synths available, that didn't have any options for these sounds at all, especially in randomization ways. Now is a golden era of sound design software and discovered knowledge in this area. Big thanks for your knowledge!🦉

BIGTHX man for the awesome vid <3 really helped me building some confidence!! you said that the lfo1-s&h is modulating the pitch of osc2. to my understanding pitch modulation is the same as frequency modulation (is that correct?). does that mean that osc2 is frequency modulated by two waveforms at the same time-------> osc1 (unipolar triangle) and lfo1 (s&h)? can i achieve this with the rf dpvco as well by feeding this 2 waveforms to a cv-mixer and then in the exp-fm input of the dpvco? and you said that the pitch of osc2 is stabilized by the hardsync to osc1. is the pitch modulation by lfo1 unable to bring osc2 out of tune (why no syncing is needed here?) and do cvs that i feed into the dpvcos fm-inputs count as pitch-cvs?------> and so shouldnt be used with unbuffered mults? people explained that fm-inputs are quite similar to v/o-inputs. please excuse this storm of questions xD and if my approach is entirely wrong. BIGTHX for your help and again for this terrific lesson!!

Good stuff, but aren't you using a euclidean sequencer to create polirhythms? As far as I'm concern Euclidean sequences usually keeps the same pattern length, don't t they?
@CelestialTextures
@CelestialTextures Жыл бұрын
You can use euclidean sequencers to create polymeters (so for this module, up to 3 different step lengths for the 3 rings), which is a different thing to polyrhythms, but its not exclusive to that.
