I feel like Californians are going regret how lackadaisical they have become about earthquakes one of these days. None of them practice the most basic earthquake precautions, like getting away from windows and getting under something stable immediately until it's over. At some point so many more people than necessary will get hurt and/or killed because they all just stand there laughing and filming.

The ones standing there watching it are stupid AF.

So sad to see this. Breaks my heart about all the people this tsunami killed, hurt, or affected. When that last boat went over the wall into the beige building, I thought to myself; one wouldn't normally see a boat crash into a building. I hope the boat was at least able to be used to save people caught down on ground level. The cars driving on that road near the retaining wall didn't seem to know what was happening. Is it possible they couldn't hear the warnings, or see it coming?
