Vaughnie leave Boycs alone...He was a great batsman, and knew how to protect his wicket,in test cricket..He faced the might of the West Indies in their hey day..Great dependable batsman, and an occasional bowler who took wickets..!!!

Come on guys surely you must realise that Vaughan was playing around just get a grip . Both were superb batsmen, boycott was from a different era when runs were generally scored slower however maybe they need someone like him now and stop those batting collapses .

Before Vaughn gets too excited by the stats, Boycott regularly faced the might of the West Indian bowling attack, not forgetting Lillee and Thompson. I've a feeling that Vaughn's favourable stats facing these guys, would of been nothing to write home about!

I am sure he was just having a laugh like when Fantasy Football had the Pele was sh*t section everyone knows he wasn’t which adds to the humour. Also there are times when you need players to remain at the crease and that is what Boycott could do better than any other batsman.

It splits the seas around the United Kingdom into named segments, and tells you the visibility, wind speed and sea conditions in that area. Ships can get Radio 4 Long Wave quite a distance from the UK's land, so it's useful for them to get these bulletins.
