These scenes and this meaningful song are an "ode" to the paradise falsely reached and quickly lost, to vain illusions, to the loneliness in company, to the emptiness impossible to fill, to the freedom that imprisons, to the love that gives life and that kills. It was all of this what Lestat was looking for in Louis, who was the "Bernadette" he desperately clung to. BRAVO D, with capital letters.

But his embodiment of Lestat was so absolute, almost impossible to believe, yet he upped his game episode after episode, it was just a joy to consume. Not that I am obsessed with or crushing on him or anything. 😛😋😘🌷🌷

It must be a blast at their house...so much talent. The Nat King Cole version has been a favorite from the first note (that velvety voice) but Ella Fitzgerald and Davis Bowie are a very close second 👍 There's a wonderful edit to David's version of Lestat and it's so fitting. 🦹♀️

When days ago I heard the president of South Korea singing "American Pie" in the White House, it came to my memory that it was one of the first song I learned in English. It was quite interesting, it had all the players including Nicholas and Claudia still living and set during Lestat's rock star phase. But I got to the ending and it was heart breaking. Back to Six of Crows.🙃🙂 I am blessed had tests yesterday and I am clear. I could shout from a roof top ..if I weren't afraid of heights 😋 How are you?
