What do you do with the straps if you ride without the bag on ?

Before you do this, run the nut around on the bolt a few times until it’s smooth. I have a belt sander that I used to get the rubber the perfect size. (Also not in a cone shape, use a washer that fits into the hole. The deeper the ball stem the better. The tighter the fit of everything the better. As little cracks as you can have means the rubber won’t sneak out.

Really late to this video but is the bolt under the seat the same size in length as the ones near the handlebars?

I'd suggest having the straps a little longer under the seat so the metal hooks are further away from the plastic when hooked up. No reason to have them so short.

I followed the installation to the T but my Signal lights aren’t working anymore. My plate light and tail light still work but the signal doesn’t

So i watched this video and cut the crimp connection from the tail light and it DOES NOT crimp back into the provided butt connector via bare wire. The rest of the installation was smooth, but i have to find new connectors if i want the plate light to work.

No hole in stem…. Any solutions?

I tested ram xgrip and stem mount on my GSXR. It does the job but ram xgrip is a poorly designed universal phone holder. It holds the phone in place but the stem mount is bad designed (you have to cut yourself the mounting insert to install it into the stem and it self destroys after the first turn of the nut...), does not lock in place and it touches the aluminum stem with the risk of scrathces. The x grip does its job but looks weak and woobly, the rubber holder looks like it is going to break only if you stare at it... I bought it and returned. Better consider other brands such as SP Connect or Quadlock.
