As you have said of multiple occasions, there is not one straight wall or easy angle to work off, while working on the Castle. I take off my hat to you for your perseverance.

One thing is for sure. When the remodel is complete, a lengthy montage of before and after would certainly blow people away! So much craziness, ingenuity, and unique construction to get it all done!

The view of the calm river, green trees and grass, and barge on the river never gets old. But I do need to point out that the tree on the right in not looking too healthy. I imagine it will have to be taken down before it becomes a hazard.

This is maybe going to be a bed and breakfast. That is inviting because it has so many quirky places and angles, it is truly unique, one of a kind. Nothing else like it on the planet. Embrace the quirky-ness. Celebrate the uniqueness. It will be a place visitors will never forget. That is what you want, right?

If I understand what you are thinking, you will be raising the roof of the stairs coming up so visitors don't knock their noggins. You are also thinking about putting an extension to the closet in the raised area. There is an opportunity here to do something special. A dresser with several drawers. The bottom draw or two could be just a blank, but there could be 3, 4, or 5 real drawers for visitors to keep their non-formal clothes in. This is something you would find in a high-end boat, a little more character, a little more convenience. You could also make it look like a "high-boy' dresser with a big shelf that goes all the way back to the wall. Maybe a lamp or a TV?

I've got a set on my ram 2500 with a 6 in RC lift and fox suspension. 37x 13.5x 22's. I've put over 30,000 miles on mine and still have probably 30 to 40% tread left. The wear has been very even, but i rotate them 4 times a year. Im guessing at least 1yr to a 1 1/2 left. Putting me at 45,000 to 50,000 when I go to replace them. I pull a 8000 lb rv all over.
