Just a thought here. You guys should explore building a ready made home CNC base. I am currently planning to build "something better" with quality linear ways and ball screws for my garage shop. I've been searching the markets for a solution to build on. The machine base shown in your video around the 1:16 mark looks perfect, just a little too big for a DIY CNC milling machine. Take a look at all the KZfaq folks using epoxy granite these days to build their own CNCs and I personally believe you would find a market. A rectangular base with built in steel surfaces already machined flat roughly 12" x 30" or 18"x 36" foot print weighing 300-500 lbs would fit most of the builds I've seen here on KZfaq.

Are there any Basetek bases that are designed to be fastened directly to an embedded sole plate where no grout is required?
