This particular course does not come with experiments or doing lab reports. I’m fairly sure I saw on the website that the high-school level courses will do this, but I’d reach out to them to double check (their customer service is great!).

They do not correspond to grade level; it's a good idea to start from the beginning, so you can make sure they know all of the rules that they'll build on! We went pretty quickly through Level 1. It may seem easy, BUT, being easier was good for my girls because it gave them some confidence. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Thanks for the question!! There is not a certain number, it really just depends on how quickly you move through your cards/verses. I like to work on a new verse for at least a week before I put it behind an odd or even tab, and move the current odd and even cards to a numbered slot. Hope this helps!

As for the Dinosaur materials we have tons of books from Master Books & mainstream content. I only have 1 book that is old earth creation right now. I'm also utilizing the book Before Genesis.

Great question!! Yes, the questions are different, and I use them for exactly what you're talking about (a spiral review). For the weekly revision sets for each grade, there are 16 for each "semester". So, you'll have a set for Semester 1 Week 1 (through Week 16) and then the same for Semester 2. From how I understand it, Semester 1 questions include problems from the previous grade level mostly so kids can review that material. Semester 2 questions include problems they say through semester 1, and some older stuff too (I am fairly certain this is how it works 😂). For example, my son is learning about Pre-Algebra concepts (grade 7), and his lessons are on equations and inequalities right now. But his weekly revision set for this week includes questions like: finding LCM, square roots, 3 digit multiplication, fractions, time, rounding, percentages, expressions, graphing, area, angles, probability, mean and media, and stem and leaf plots 😂. A TON of old concepts! I love it! You CAN generate these to assign automatically throughout the year and the kids can complete them on the computer. However, I like to print them out, so I just do that each week. When my kids start the next grade level, I think I'm going to just print them all at once so I have them ready to go each week. Hey there! That sounds a lot like what I did with my oldest son our first year of homeschooling...we did AAR 1 and Singapore Math 1A alongside MFWK. For us (at the time) it was fine, but I wasn't homeschooling 3 other kids then as well...so, it can be done, and we had a lot of fun with it, but just consider what your days will look like and what you can reasonably do. You could always try it and just scale back if needed!

They are both good but definitely very different!! I’m happy we used Singapore and I’m most likely using it for my little one when he’s ready. CTC is a good fit for my older kids and our homeschool right now. Many differences between the two though, that could probably be a whole other video 😂
