She’s super pretty, the only thing I don’t like about her is her hair’s texture, but other than that she’s unique and lovely.

Thank you for showing us in detail about this doll. It was super interesting to see her with the dress off and hair down. I don’t think many collectors will do that. She is very pretty!

I don’t know but my guess is they are not :(. It almost seems like AG gave us a bunch of options at first to see what was most popular then only kept the most popular hair/eyes/etc.

@@amysoddmenagerie3797 It makes sense as a business move, but from a customer standpoint it sucks to have less options. Even the meet outfits were way better when CYOs first came out.

the way curly hair works is that curls absorb more light because of their shape. so it looks a little darker bc there’s more shadow casted on her hair, but it looks like the same shade of red. pull one of her curls straight and compare that way

Did you notice if the dress that comes with the outfit stains because from what I heard in a KZfaq video by the KZfaq channel the doll studio by Chris that the dress does stain mainly the doll's underarms and neck area

Oh no! Mine isn’t stained but I removed it from her pretty shortly after I got her and haven’t used it. That stinks though

Oh gosh I created the exact same CYO doll, except she has hazel eyes 😂 it’s nice to get a preview, I’m still waiting for her. She’s very cute.

I am such a fan of the new CYO freckle pattern. It's not just that the lightness makes them look more natural - the size and placement helps so much, too. They're just perfect. I am (very impatiently) awaiting my CYO and can't wait to see these new freckles in person. Also, I had to laugh out loud because we just named our newest doll Autumn 🤣🤣

@@amysoddmenagerie3797 Thanks - the lady also had a 6.1 and had no idea it was valuable. She was keeping it because it had sentimental value to her so I didn't even tell her it was valuable - that way she doesn't have to even contemplate sell vs. keep. I figure if it means something to her, that's what matters. But that was the first and only time I have ever seen a 6.1 in person. And all her dolls were in great shape considering they were her daughters' dolls.

Love this! Right now my favorite doll is a white bodied Kirsten I found at a yard sale in the 1990s, but Grace and Maritza are close. Maryellen's story is my life story...born in '44 in Florida near Jacksonville! My mini-me doll, though, is Rebecca--her mousy brown hair is like mine. Was one of your dolls named Jacey? That's my daughter's name (it's short for Jaceolyn).

Your dolls are so unique, and I think it's cool that you like them to be more like real people and not have perfect hair. I think you picked the right ones to be your favorites. That was fun. I have a really hard time picking favorites from my own collection because I only have 8 and they all have different face molds except for 2 Josefina molds. I think my newest doll is my favorite right now, a Marie Grace with Isabel's wig, custom freckles and glossed lips. I think Marie Grace was made for blonde hair. So cute. Thanks for sharing your collection!

You did great - what a fabulous price, even with the shipping. I wouldn't name her Ursula, just because it makes me think of the sea witch from The Little Mermaid, but that's just me. I think you should name her whatever makes you smile. :) Let us know what you end up doing with her hair. I'm pretty sure the blonde twin has Felicity's eyes, but leaked stock photos aren't always 100%, so you never know. That would be nice if she had Caroline's eyes. I think more people like Caroline's eyes than Felicity's and she would sell better, but who knows. We'll get to see her in 7 days. :)

YES, American Girl absolutely needs to make more doll jewelry. I make a lot of bracelets, earrings, and necklaces for my dolls, but I don't know how to make rings for them so I really need AG to get on that lol. Also, you could always buy vinyl lashes for Olive. We use them on a lot of our dolls - I love that it makes their eyes pop but doesn't have to be permanent.

Thanks for the advice! I have started making little beaded bracelets and necklaces for myself and the dolls since this video. It is so much fun! I recently made rainbow/chakra bracelets in doll size and human size lol
