I have heard that chirping for years and never knew it was from them! I thought it was more bug like sounds lol ! I have seen them flying at night and even shot a few but they are so scarce in Pennsylvania that the season is only a couple days! Funny little birds!

Seems to me when doing what comes naturally you take it all for granted. I never miss one of your videos and must than you. Incidentally Beaver 🦫 🦫 get huge. You hardly ever see them BUT in Maine where they build culvert bridges the damned up water makes a perfect start to a pond they long to finish. A 3 foot tall one in a trap is a sight to see.makes you wanna chew white pine bark for yourself your vitamin C like Cartier.

Once when I was Extremely over heated wandering roofers in Maine sent me to just such a stream. I played down head first in that white water part and was instantly cured. Thanks for the memories 😅!

That's not a flower, that's an inflorescence which contains many petal-less florets. When pollinated, the female florets grow fruit and is called an infructescence. Those berries contain seeds.

I have a squirrel proof bird feeding station. (Got the idea from YT.) It's hung on a 4" PVC pipe, about 7' off the ground. Works great.
