Selam new sister! You forgot to mention the Black American Israelites. They came to Ethiopia first, not the Jamaicans or Rastas. It was the Black Americans who were invited by his Magesty to come live in Ethiopia since the Black Americans are his relatives (Israelites). Haile Sellasie came to Nenw York and petitioned the Black Americans if they could help and fight in his war. They agreed and went to Ethiopia. The Black Americans were gifted lands in Bahir dar and in Shashemene. You should interview the Bkack American Israelites. We are many in Ethiopia. One-love let's always speak truth! Bless!

Wow.. Pretty amazing to learn about the Rastafarian core beliefs.. To me it is like journalism the way you ladies dug up information in Shashamane.. I confess I knew too little about the religion until now, and I guess many others are like me. We know more about reggae music and Bob Marley than about the faith itself. I have a strange feeling that the religion is not for all of us, as much as it is interesting to hear about it, especially its advocacy of peace and black consciousness .. Thank you so much again lovely ladies for yet another very informative video.. LUV U..

why did they stop dressing the simpol of Rasta ? because the Ethiopian regime is anti Rasteferian, believe or color?

True.. We South Africans have a beautiful country which we are crazy to deserve.., all of us black, white and others.. I liked hearing that we all have free agency to to live our faith the best we understand how, without being dictated to by others.. Many of us end up avoiding religious affiliation simply because we loathe spiritual tyranny. To be free to choose helps us to be genuine and honest to ourselves and others.. Thank you again ladies.. I knew we'd love the content in Shashamane, the way it has been the case wherever you went.. Love you guys..

Sweeet, sweeet Rasta Jamaican and South African Ethiopians... I've had to sit up past bed time, and I am not feeling that well today, to watch the video till the end.. Haha.. forgive, together with the subscribers the BS expression of my countryman.. He is so much a free spirit South African and very talented to boot.. I loved this one so much.. ladies. How do I say thank you? I am glad you made this video. A few months ago I saw by chance a Shashamane video by one white foreigner vlogger which left me a little disappointed about that place.. He focused more on the negative aspect of life there, like poverty, the lack of proper community life and proper houses .. You have set the record straight and I am glad I am a subscriber. I'd love to set foot in Shashamane, but I confess the planning is getting more interesting but complex. You are my heroes lovely ladies.. Let's see the next one which I know is going to be another bomb.. LUV as always..
