i enjoyed living here as the people were very chirpy, but the price of housing made it worthless.

we used to provide a music background but decided that it is better to offer a silent experience because sound can be off putting.

In the 1960s I worked for a company of victualers who’s head office was in Leadenhall Mkt London... A.V Elliott had a number of pubs and restaurants in the city of London and I was their “ handy man “ Victor Elliott was one of the nicest guys I had ever met and worked for He had a son who I got on with And Vic Elliott used to say that I reminded him of his son, I got away with a lot because of that .... I’d love to know of the family ( all these years later ) They had a lasting effect on me,,, They also owned the downs Hotel at Epsom Race Course and they lived in that town .. Just reminiscing

The Assyrians, were descendant people, from Shem. Shem had many sons, and some.of them, became kings , in the Land of Shinar. They were cousins to the Jews
@ritaa13597 ай бұрын

I was hopeful to get a glimpse of my own work in the exhibition but no video pieces shown. Did you get a chance to see the projections? It does seem intriguing and colourful. Thanks for the quick tour.

As you may know, it is difficult to cover everthing. We did not see the projections unfortunately but you should be very proud you were selected. Congratulations

I'm not sure where Johnathan Jones five star "spectacular gorefest" went. What I found was two slim corridors of mildly curious artefacts and a shadow play on a wall. Not the engaging display of contrasts I was expecting from Jones's review. Nor did I gain anything more than I got in an episode of In Our Time, in terms of insights. I think I would have enjoyed it more had I not read the review first.

I think they should rebuild the original Euston station for HS2 and save the aesthetic of the current hs2 station plans for a different station. Obviously, it wouldn't be exactly the same because the facade has moved forward (that was the whole reason they demolished the old one) but considering that they're thinking about rebuilding Penn Station in New York City, why can't we rebuild our great lost station?

There are many who would defer to the Tate to decide what is art. To accept the craft of weaving as art, broadens the mind. A far more profound experience than labeling as art, the shrieking of grafitti, or the pretensions of propaganda.

I played in this when it was derilict in Theobalds Park with my mates. it was just sitting there fenced off. Years later I had a double take walking down the strand. I just assumed there were two of them.
