Again, not keeping up with the bigger machines is killing Honda. I know they haven’t ever kept up with HP wars, but come on now, I was able to get a Kingquad 750 Axi for cheaper than this. It has more power, just as reliable, bigger headlight on the steering column, textured racks so no slipping. This is a rebadged Rincon with the body of a Foreman and smaller steering headlight. All these years for this? Come on Honda.

Honda seems like an incredibly conservative company that occasionally does something completely nuts (Element, Rune, Blackbird are some examples that spring to mind). So in the back of my mind i keep waiting and hoping that some workaholic Japanese engineer has cooked up a prototype atv with the Goldwing 1800 cc 6-cylinder engine and is just waiting for his chance to convince upper management to just fkn go for it! Any day now...😂

I had alot of hate towards this machine at first but, obviously, not happy about it but, i just seen honda's vid called the "origanals" and its clear there keeping it old school, and hondas are tough no matter the age, so why change is what there telling use. Just diff lock would have made me happy 😂 oh and the newer fuel pump

How can this be more expensive than the 520 rubicon? It's missing power steering, diff lock, hitch, tow capacity, adjustable shocks. I don't see a reason to trade unless it was less money.

Flagship model redesign with no EPS , let alone a hitch receiver, both of which are standard on a CForce 500 on up in the CF moto lineup lol. I get that Honda are reliable , but guess what? So are Briggs and Stratton. It takes power to break things, when you keep things under 40 hp and don’t innovate for 20 years it’s much easier on a powertrain.

It's not hydrostatic it's a automotive 3-speed with a torque converter, wake up. It's needs to be updated and upgraded to 2100 century not 1900 hundreds, i am a honda man i have owned one from 1982, reliable yes, cutting edge no, they need to get of there asses and wake up, for what they are charging the should be up to date, newer more powerful engines better suspension etc. i love Honda's but they need to change if they want to still exist.

This does not have a hydrostatic transmission. The Rincon had a three-speed automotive style automatic transmission. The original Rubicon 500 had a hydrostatic transmission. The new Rubicon 500 has a DCT transmission. So if this transmission in the new 700 Rubicon is the same as the Rincon, it is not a hydrostatic transmission.

And for me I was a Honda guy but for the price I can buy a Polaris 570 that has the same power as this for the same price as this and it has power steering and rides better I’m not hard on machines and I can’t justify spending the extra money on a Honda to get less machine

The 570 has 44hp. From research, the honda only has 32-38 depending on the machine. The 570 is also a torque monster in the low-end rpms. I sometimes miss my 570 but it was not a very tough machine. Axles, bearings, etc, wear out too fast on it and it has heat issues (burning legs, etc). That being said, I'd still take the 570 over any honda. Its just smoother, funner, way cheaper.

It is an excellent trail machine for my wife. It just doesn’t have the low end power I need for work. There is absolutely no comparison of it against my King quad 750 when it comes to pulling power. If Honda would put a low range, diff lock and power steering, it would be a great machine.

Funny but Yamaha did the opposite of Honda. On my 2021 Grizzly SE bottom lights led, handlebar light halogen. 3 speed, no low range, no power steering and no diff lock. What about a trailer hitch? Honda could and should do better.

This is a one trick pony. It's good on nice easy trails but that's it. They dont even put a trailer hitch on it because it sucks pulling anything with the tall first gear. It needs more gears, power steering and diff lock.
