Nee hoor dit filmpje komt uit de tijd dat wij in Nederland nog niet onze eigen taal gingen vervangen door Engels/Amerikaans. Toen gebruikten we bijvoorbeeld nog het Nederlandse woord 'nep' terwijl jij nu het Engelse woord 'fake' in plaats daarvan gebruikt. Je mocht trouwens toen ook nog gewoon roken in de trein, in het schoolgebouw en in het ziekenhuis...

1954 sounds, looks and feels so different..The accent of the broadcaster! A postwar gloom. Then came the youthquake of the 60s. No wonder! But looking at the history of the old Shell building - now abandoned, the missing part is why. Looks spooky!

This was a sports park for Shell employees, which my father was , and families. The swimming pool was great in summer and for us all free
